The medical frigate I was serving on at Endor took a hit and I got pinned beneath a beam of superheated metal. I've got a bacta allergy so cell regeneration wasn't possible. That's the story with the leg and the face. Lost the hand later to some shrapnel, but since that wasn't the same sort of life or deaths situation they had time to get it a bit more lifelike. [Its all told so painfully cheerful and animated. Although to be fair he does seem pretty entertained as he continues.] Oooh and my spleen! That's new, I keep forgetting, but pretty exciting.

	It does! Emerson and Ned were investigating my murder — usually Ned wakes up murder victims for a short minute to find out who offed them, but he kind of... Didn't make me dead again. I never wanted to be dead in the first place, if that's what you mean. It would've been fine if he'd made me... un-alive again though. I mean, I'm happy that he didn't but... I was ready for it.

[As for Phanan he's gotten so used to being turned down that this is just the latest in a 5 year string of disappointments. If she's got a boyfriend she obviously cares so much about he should just accept that they're going to be nothing more than friends and leave it at that. And hey, he can always use more friends, right? Confusing friends he likes kissing and who have a really cute manner of speaking.]

Just morbid curiosity on my part. I'll effortlessly change the subject, watch. What does that dog eat? Do they have it here?
