[He grins.] I have a very understanding boyfriend. And now, in this place, I have a boyfriend who knows beyond doubt that if I am off kissing people when the bots demand, that really is all I’m doing.

[And yes, he does look a bit smug about that. It’s going to be a while before he’s got over the fact that he’s actually, in a way, enjoying being monogamous.]

Maybe I'll find him later. [ Actually, she's okay with just kissing the one of her gay neighbors. That's fine, really! Especially if Ianto smells as nice as Jack does or kisses as sweetly, because oh boy if that's a thing she probably wouldn't be able to invite herself over with pie anymore without feeling like she's in a porno.

That's... that's a really good warm, friendly kiss. It makes it a little hard to stop. ]

[He finds himself dragging this one out a little more than he'd intended, because she is so incredibly sweet and he feels bad about all the kisses she's been missing out on for the last twenty years.

But eventually, he pulls back, at about the point where confetti would be showering down if there were a bot about, because he really doesn't want to impose on her or confuse her or basically do anything that would annoy Ianto. He strokes her cheek with his thumb and lets go, smiling as he sits back.]

That was nice.

[ Her cheeks feel warm when he does pull back, stomach fluttering with butterflies. Surprisingly, she doesn't feel all that confused — it was a nice kiss but this is Jack and she doesn't think she'd ever be able to see him that way. He's her flirty, friendly neighbor and that's all he'll ever be. It's a relief, really. ]

It was. Thank you. [ Wow who says that. She ducks her head, brushing some sand off her dress. ] I should get going... I promised Tyki I'd make some pies today.
