	I would agree with you there. [Not that hell ever opened up on her, but she had dealt with her own terrible experiences. They made their way to the far end of the sector without incident and turned to come back the other way.] I really don't see anything else happening today other than people being forced to kiss others. [And OK, so maybe there are things she should worry about. Like Elena. And perhaps last time the bots had come around, she'd been less than willing thanks to her life events, but Martha didn't really care about all that.]

Never really understood the thought process behind it. Then again, most people witness animal deaths far more than human deaths...

[Door open, she gestures to let him through. The flat is much cleaner than the last time he saw it. It even smells clean. You'd never be able to tell someone was dealing with the flu from hell here.]

[Except his next comment is a joke about his apartment being unoccupied and she almost... almost jokes back about not living in an apartment together, but realizes she's still not sure how to define what they have. Instead she drops her bag and flops on the couch, holding out her hand to him.]

Minus the fact that there are clothes and a dog I assume...

She did remove her hand from his shoulder and her legs from his lap. The thought crosses her mind that he probably would have been thrilled were it Elena. And then she hates herself for thinking it. But right now she has to cover the insanely long and awkward silence that has invaded the room.]

Forgive me I'm a terrible hostess. Would you like anything to drink? All I have is water and tea so those are your choices. But there's lots of tea.

[And she gets up to make her way to the kitchen, rolling her eyes at herself to babbling about tea.]
