[It's strange to be kissing someone he's allowed to kiss under these circumstances. It's usually embarrassing and awkward or—in a few cases—exciting and forbidden. Or something just a little less intense than forbidden but certainly unexpected.

Still, he hasn't been with Martha long and he's still trying to figure out what they are exactly and how it's supposed to work in prison with him trying to escape and her memories of Tom and his...friendship with Elena. It's complicated especially when he stops to think about it. Things usually work more smoothly when he just acts.

Like when he puts his arm around her and pulls her in just a bit closer while they kiss.]

[Martha's just putting all the complications out of her head today. There's plenty of people she'll end up kissing, and because of the mistletoe bots, it's a free pass. It's tomorrow that counts. And so, even though the bot cheers and throws confetti over both of them, Martha doesn't notice. She's too busy snaking her arm to the back of Sam's neck to push closer. Because this feels good and she's not going to let it ruin her day.]

[They sure are doing this in public and neither of them seem to care much about that since the kiss continues, just a bit heated. There have been kisses in the dome for him. Not a ton, but some. Otherwise it's been a long time since...there was more than kisses. Not that he's about to have more than kisses with her in public, but he's also not too eager to stop kissing. At least not until he does something like think about it too much.]

	I would agree with you there. [Not that hell ever opened up on her, but she had dealt with her own terrible experiences. They made their way to the far end of the sector without incident and turned to come back the other way.] I really don't see anything else happening today other than people being forced to kiss others.
