	[Phanan doesn't think the little floating droids are weird, per say, but the cyborg does get curious once he starts noticing them all over the dome. So, naturally, he decides to satisfy that curiosity by picking one to follow around. Maybe he can even catch it and take it apart and program it to do things!] (Reply to this) (Thread)

[Martha was busy on her Defense Force sweep when she turned a corner and ran into a bot and the cyborg looking man. And then the perimeter snapped up and the thing was yelling "KISS!" and she was stuck.]

Well then. I was hoping to not run into one of these today, but it looks like it found me.

[She looked the man... robot... thing over. The face plate and eye were disconcerting, but at least he didn't have tentacles. He was tall. Why were they always so tall.]

[Martha grins playfully.] You mean you don't think you can follow the directions it's shrieking at us?

That's a mistletoe bot. It throws a barrier around us that we can't break until we kiss. And if we take too long, it'll shrink the barrier.

[Case in point, the barrier does shrink and actually shoves Martha forward a step.]

It's easier to just do what they say [She closes the gap on her own but waits for his permission before even attempting to kiss him.]

I'm not sure. I had just arrived last time and I... [She was cut off when the barrier pushed against her once more and the bot started shrieking again.]

Would you bloody shut up! [To the bot. She turned to her fellow prisoner.]

There will be time for pleasantries later.

[And with that, she lifted herself onto her toes and placed a hand on his good cheek to steady his face before brushing her lips against his. She waited for the burst of confetti that marked the end of the kiss.]

[It happens before he can really brace himself for it, and suddenly she's kissing him, very lightly but there's some sweetness to it. At first he thinks he is just imagining the burst of confetti, but no, its real. His lips feel like they're tingling after she pulls away. Its been a long time since he's done this, but he doesn't let that show.]

Well as far as first impressions go I like this one. Ton Phanan, nice to kiss you.
