Jack unfortunately hasn't caught on to the nuances of Veridical's tip and music choice, or he'd be out there from the outset trying to snare a mistletoe bot like he did last time. So this morning he'll just be at the beach taking a nice long swim and then lounging in his bright blue Speedos working on his tan. Later in the day, he'll be heading to the library (specifically, the section on vampires). In between, he'll be making his usual multiple trips to the various places that sell coffee and food. And once he's cottoned on to the fact that this is Mistletoe Day, you'll be almost certain to find him with a bot somewhere nearby, because Jack likes Mistletoe Day!

But yeah, in a hundred and seventy-odd years of being alive, I have managed to master the art of reading. [He pushes the heavy tome away, clearly relieved to have an excuse not to continue with it.] Doesn’t mean I enjoy it, mind. [A smile] Care to offer some distraction from the boring stuff?

Ordinarily, yes. There are occasions, however, when even I have to knuckle down and get on with the boring stuff. Such occasions may arise when some asshole vampire is making a nuisance of himself.

[Pursing his lips, and then waving it aside, because Kitty is far nicer to look at and way more entertaining than the book. He turns his body towards her, leaning an elbow on the table.]
