Marta was tired of constantly doing the right thing instead of what might possibly make her happy. And he didn't seem too put out. It wasn't until her hand somehow found it's way to his hair that some semblance of reason pushed it's way to the forefront of her brain and she pulled away enough to exhale a breathless...]

	I'm not exactly in a snackeled place either, and it seems like it's never a good idea for me, but... I like you too. [But there are still feelings for Elena even if she's gone now and even if she's with Damon if she comes back. [Yes, this is better. The fight going on in her head quiets as Sam kisses her this time. The headache recedes just a bit, and she can almost forget about everything else. That is, until she moves her hand and accidentally places it in the cake.]

Bloody hell!

[She pulls away and looks at her suddenly frosting covered hand, slightly dismayed. And then her face turns positively devilish as she looks to Sam and quickly streaks his nose with said frosting.]
