Wonderland Event — Dome-wide mingle
[ There were blankets set out in the lush parks of the prison, and on top a feast was spread out. Fine china and chubby pots of tea, delicate cake trays filled with tarts, biscuits and sandwiches; yes, anything the hungry and weary prisoners could wish for was laid out for their convenience.

The sun was shining brightly and a playful breeze rustles the leaves of the trees. Surely a wonderful day for a tea party! ]

[Tear'd left the now near-empty apartment this morning as soon as she'd changed into sporty clothing for the training hall like always, no kind of breakfast. But the scent of the tea wafts from the carts in Sector 0 today though, and it's strong, tempting-- enough that she makes herself stop while passing through for a small cup to take with her. It's not a big breach of discipline, after all...]

[Nope, it's not a big breach of discipline! Bart's already helped himself to a good chunk of the food. You'd think he'd learn better, but he's kind of equal-opportunity when it comes to good tea.

That might be why he's fast-asleep in the middle of Sector 0. For the most part, the bots don't seem to care (even though he's impeding their movement), but he's just snoring there. In the middle of all that foot traffic. Sorry, Tear.]

[The snoring of one kid is easily lost amidst the bustle of what's essentially the dome's hub, and without such a warning or her looking at all at the ground as while taking a drink, she very nearly trips back over Bart after getting her tumbler of ~~weakness~~tea, clutching it tightly as she rights herself quickly enough]

What the...

[Her first thought is injured, so setting down her mug, she kneels and starts searching for some kind of wound... irregularity in pulse, breathing... Finding nothing of the sort is a sigh of relief. So then why...]

[Her voice gets him to stir just a bit. Bart lazily opens one eye, staring up at the girl before him. Some part of him feels like it's a dream - it has to be, he's never seen this girl before in his life - so he manages only the barest of smiles.]

Hey beautiful. [There IS an irregularity in his pulse - his heart beats significantly faster than the average person, once awake - but beyond that, everything else seems normal.]

He gets a thoroughly unimpressed look which is genuine at first, but then just masks the concern that starts to grow over such a high pulse rate-- while resting, to boot. Addressing him gruffly as she sits back on her legs is just another facet of that act]

Hmph, you seem fine, after all. Except for the being in everyone's way.

[Her attitude doesn't bother him in the least. Even in his dreams, the pretty ladies play hard to get! Except he IS a bit bothered that dream girl doesn't quite look like his girlfriend. Is his subconscious telling him something?]

I looked sick? [headtilt] Last I checked, I was pretty healthy.

[His irregular heartbeat is kind of normal to him. Bart glances around, finally noticing the hustle and bustle of Sector 0.] Though I guess people don't end up here often.

Not sprawled on the ground like you were-- still are, actually-- and unconscious in the middle of a plaza. It looked like you could have collapsed, or been injured somehow. [She gets up finally, not bothering to wait and see if he's going to, her frown not easing out any at all]

Your racing pulse didn't really dispel those possibilities, either.
