Day 221 — Morning mingle : Main shelter
[Wake up and smell the lack of coffee. You're on a bunk bed. Maybe you're a top and maybe you're a bottom. There are five other people in your room. Maybe they're friends or enemies or faces you barely recognize if at all. It doesn't matter much. You can leave this room and you don't need to come back to it.

You should get your rations though. You're probably hungry. You're definitely a little sluggish of body. What happened to that bruise you got sparing yesterday? What happened to your newly dyed hair? Mystery, mystery... Move along. Find the public bathrooms and do your business with a hundred of your closest friends.

Find the kiosk and get your rations. Careful not to let anyone steal them. You won't get more until tomorrow and the bots won't care. They aren't here to hold your hand. If you get sick or hurt and they deem it necessary they will take you to the hospital whether you wish it or not. But why dwell on such things? You're here now and you might as well enjoy it. You even get a free day today.]

[Congratulations Garica, you're getting a continued front row seat to Tyki's rarely shown face of fluster. At first he's confused, still lead in through the first question and the quick denial. Then his brows knit because how did he land himself in this part of the conversation? This is why he doesn't talk about these kinds of things with women who like to. He should've gotten away when he had the chance.

Didn't say I was in love, or have been for a while. [He was more along the lines of talking about his affection for Road, but. Now he's a bit ruffled.]

Ah, gotcha. Sorry. [She's catching some of those signs that he's not enjoying the chitchat and well, it's making her a tiny bit nervous.] I didn't mean to get too nosy, really.

I'm just kind of amazed that you're so much like the rest of us. No offense of course, but the way people talk about you I'd think your head spins 360 degrees and you bathe in -- puppy blood. [Yeah she was definitely going to say "kitten blood" right there and changed her mind last second, whew.]

Wars have always been a human thing, haven't they? You don't have to be different to be a monster. [Partial confession to being a monster, but more pressingly putting forward the concept that the human race has been monsters for thousands of years on their own. Garcia's one of a few people who'd understand just as well, surely.]

You have a point. A lot of the people my team goes after are plain old human, but seriously messed up and not someone I'd want to have over for dinner. I guess that's what I thought about when people told me how dangerous you were... which was really unfair of me. I'm really sorry.

[She shifts a little, mid-thought.] I may not know what to make of you, but I wouldn't be sitting here if I felt like you were going to suddenly reach out and rip my face off. In fact, you go out of your way for me.
