Day 221 — Morning mingle : Main shelter
[Wake up and smell the lack of coffee. You're on a bunk bed. Maybe you're a top and maybe you're a bottom. There are five other people in your room. Maybe they're friends or enemies or faces you barely recognize if at all. It doesn't matter much. You can leave this room and you don't need to come back to it.

You should get your rations though. You're probably hungry. You're definitely a little sluggish of body. What happened to that bruise you got sparing yesterday? What happened to your newly dyed hair? Mystery, mystery... Move along. Find the public bathrooms and do your business with a hundred of your closest friends.

Find the kiosk and get your rations. Careful not to let anyone steal them. You won't get more until tomorrow and the bots won't care. They aren't here to hold your hand. If you get sick or hurt and they deem it necessary they will take you to the hospital whether you wish it or not. But why dwell on such things? You're here now and you might as well enjoy it. You even get a free day today.]

(OOC: OOC info. This mingle takes place in the Main shelter over the morning hours.

[Buffy can be found waking up in one of the bunk rooms, the one that Sam Merlotte and Dawn Summers are also waking up in. Her first order of business will be to comfort Dawn and make sure that she's all right. Once that's done she'll do the same for Sam, or more likely be comforted by him as he tends to serve that job in her life.

After that, she can be found getting her rations...who eats cabbage anyway?...or mingling through the crowds in an attempt to find other people she knows and cares for.]

[Waking up is disorienting and somewhat unpleasant. He's stiff and as he becomes more aware he realizes his senses are dulled down to something human. Frowning at his new white jumpsuit he then sits up to see Buffy. Relief is potent but he keeps it G-rated when he spots Dawn nearby.]

Hey. [He'll go join Buffy on her bunk, reaching over to take her hand before looking around.]

Well don't this look charmin'. [He misses his bar already.]

	Guess they got what they asked for. [He leans over to try and breath her in, testing his abilities again and frowning when he can tell it's not all there. [She takes a sharp breath at that then lets it out, laughing nervously.] Oh. Well...that...how? [She stops any answer he might have with a shake of her head.] The anklets. I knew that. I just...didn't have one when I showed up. It was all chains and manacles and very medieval, which somehow I'm more comfy with.

[She hasn't had time to really test out her humanness or rather to notice the slayerness missing. Unlike Sam, or the vampires, her senses aren't that much markedly better so that she'd notice the lack of noise or smell. She usually notices her lack of strength first and since she hasn't left this room yet, no noticing.]

[ Damon's at the kiosk waiting to collect his rations for the day. He has no idea how Stefan managed to get hold of his blood rations with all these people milling about. It's hard to be ninja quick without his vampiric abilities -- boo -- so he's decided to just get the regular stuff. It's not gonna kill him.

Veggies and oats. ] Nngh. [ Without his fangs, he can't even feed on a random someone, but lucky for the prison population, he's not that hungry for blood. Unlike Stefan, he has some semblance of control. He's not about to go slicing and dicing with a knife. ]

I miss the old prison already.
