[ look, it could be worse. really, it has been worse. elena pulls in a breath as the barrier nudges her closer too, lets it out on an exhale of dry amusement. she still doesn't particularly appreciate or agree with this holiday, but by this time today?

there really is nothing to do but accept it. again, could be worse. ] I guess that's the risk we took saying we just have to deal with it.
