School is supposed to start next week. I thought we'd be home by then but I don't think that's going to happen.

I don't have much experience with this world, but I've been thinking about what I could do to help - if nothing else, to have something to do. It's never good to be idle.

How hard would it be to open a clinic here? I'm an accomplished healer, both with and without magic, and I would not expect much in return. We are provided food and shelter here, and that is better than a lot in my world receive, but I would not mind having something to set aside.

How can people that aren't from this planet get ID docs? Basic scan docs, that sort of thing. Can't see my current ones working here even if I still had them.

I found Magnus's diary on my bed this morning. I didn't have it with me when I was brought here. This feels like more faerie tricks, though I don't know how they could have gotten this.

On another note, any ideas how long a warlock glamour lasts?

I have seen a large number of people remarking on presents that they have received. Is there a particular pattern to this phenomenon -- are the gifts similar in any way -- or is it completely random?

I have received a mighty gift this day! A flask filled with one of the finest alcohols in Asgard, aged for over a thousand years in barrels built from the wreck of Grunhel's fleet. This feels like a good omen!

Since we all seem to be getting good news in the form of gifts, I thought I'd share some more good news. Caroline and I are planning a party to properly celebrate the disappearance of the poppies, and everyone is invited! We'll be having it outside by the pool on this coming Friday, and any contributions or assistance are very much appreciated. We all deserve a chance to relax, take a few moments to breathe and properly enjoy ourselves.
