If you head west up the Summerlin Parkway, you can stay inside the city limits but get close enough to Red Rock Canyon national park to at least see something besides casinos, tall buildings and neon lights.

I'm taking a drive up that way if there are a few people who want in for the ride? All these cheap plaster copies of actual architecture are beginning to make me feel a little stir crazy.

Come to Vegas and Garth Brooks is nowhere to be found. Shame.

So what can a girl take her five-year-old daughters to do around here?

I am going to take Hope to the store to get some new art supplies. Would you and your girls like to join us? Perhaps we can stop for ice cream on the way?

I've tried all the hotels on the strip. It's the strangest thing. Everything functions just like you'd expect it to, but you can't go upstairs in any of them. Just this one. What do you think that means?

My daughter is so eager to explore our new home but I am reluctant to allow her to do so. I suppose I cannot keep her locked up in our room forever.

This just seems to be getting more and more mysterious.

Is there anyone else here who's relatively scientifically-minded? I mean, I always have entertained the possibility of things that can't easily be explained by science, but it's still an abrupt change from what I'm used to.

I don't think there's much in the way of evidence or clues for any part of this, and it's very jarring to me.
