April showers were involved...just not in the manner they would be for anyone else.

We were pretty silly in chat last night and the subject morphed into "What would LOLWolves look like?" Well, Look no further.

Finally, has to be said, the First-Draft deadline for the BLU project is tomorrow (Thursday). While I might take late sign-ups for artists (as we're still recruiting), if authors don't send something in on the 30th, they're not going to be in the project. Sorry to be harder on the authors, but all the other deadlines hinge on us knowing what stories are complete and in beta.

As we wind down the April challenge, I thought it might be fun to talk about Snape, Lupin and our Fools topic. You can either talk in general about Snape and Lupin, and times when they might have acted foolish in canon, or you can remember a moment in a fic where one or both were fools and share it with us.

Or, you are welcome to go back to the original Fools Challenge, pick a quote or image from the list, and discuss how it might apply to Snape/Lupin. Even tell us the bare bones of the story or image you wanted to create this month that you never got around to, if you want.

I've always wanted Snape to meet Constantine. And John, sot that he is, insisted it was in a pub (and at some point before the smoking ban came in).

And in the spirit of the season, this month's challenge is simple titled: Fools

Write, draw, drabble, create anything involving Lupin/Snape and any version of the word "fool" you can think of. There is no minimum or maximum word count or effort involved. The deadline for posting your effort is APRIL 30.

We seem to be in a bit of a community slump, so for this challenge, I gathered up some quotes and images to help inspire your efforts. If nothing below helps, you're always welcome to reply here seeking the kind of prompts that will inspire you.

Ongoing projects you can easily jump into:
Snupin: Bigger, Longer and Uncut - Our version of a Big Bang. Deadline to sign up for writers and artists is April 30, which is also the first-draft deadline.

Chocolate and Asphodel 2: A community project that gathers up creative pursuits for later presentation in a single format. Deadline is July 1.

This month's theme search is Werewolf!Snape. Any stories, including AUs and ARs, in which Snape is a werewolf either instead of, because of, or in conjunction with Remus are eligible.
