so you don't know me...
Who: Star and Venus
Where: Camelot Place
When: Morning
Star had been on the mortal plane for about a day. About a day and she had somehow managed to not just bolt straight over to where the Bohinen girls were to say hi. Okay, that managing had been made a little easier by the fact that it was different finding your way around when you were actually in a place as opposed to when you were watching people navigate about it. That latter part happened in bits and pieces and she rarely paid the best attention to it. Her head was still full of all the ways to get around back at her home and not at all of how to get from street to street here. Or how it worked getting into apartment complexes. Did you just walk through the front door? Did you need a key? She had spent at least an hour melding herself in with a tree so that she could watch people going into and out of Camelot Place before she had finally decided to follow one of them in. Now, now... now she just had to remember which one of these doors had Venus behind it.
It was kind of like one of those gameshows they liked so much. Only instead of asking what was behind door number one and throwing it open, Star was staring at each one of them with a degree of scrutiny that earned her more than a few strange looks from people passing by. Star just made faces right back at them, once even tugging her beanie-thing down over her eyes at some kid. Did the action make any sense? No, not really, but this was Star and she was not one to always make sense with the things that she did.
Like how at some point in the past ten minutes since getting in the building, she had began drawing trails of pale blue light in the air every time she brought her hand up to run through her hair or readjust her beanie or go to knock only to realize that no, no this was not the right door. The surroundings were wrong and that was not supposed to be there and if Venus was here was she not supposed to just know? Whatever. Star tugged at her hair as she came to stop in front of a door that did look familiar. She was pretty sure that she had witnessed Venus step up here multiple times, along with Willow, and the longer she stared the more certain she was that she was right. Good, I was getting tired of all this wandering around. After straightening her clothes out a bit, Star raised her hand and knocked on the door. Then she waited. And when the door did not open immediately she knocked again. Just to make sure that Venus had heard her and was coming, because this was important!
