This was not going as well as Star had anticipated. Of course, in her head, she had shown up and somehow they had all known who she was and everything had gone wonderfully, they had sat down for milk and cookies... it had been a wonderful time in her imagination. Star was sure that she had glamoured it out a few times as well when she had felt lonely and no one was home. It had never once involved Venus stepping away or her familiar standing there like she was going to do something.
Star rolled her shoulders and glamoured up an exact image of her favorite mirror for watching the Mortal Realm at home. To any non-fae it would look as solid as anything else and she was actually pleased with how well it turned out since she had never done it before. "Through things like this. We couldn't come through, but we could watch, so I watched." Why was this not easy to understand? "Like you watch the television. Only you're obviously real and - okay, you have to explain the television. Are they real too or are you making it all up and acting it out? I have a debate going with one of my friends back home..." And it was a lot warmer in here, so Star reached up to remove her beanie. "And what? You're fae-blooded. Think about it. How can you be fae-blooded unless somewhere along your family tree there was a fae? I mean, it's on your news, that the Gates opened. Aren't you getting to see us all over the place now?"
