Angels and demons, angels and demons. Star rolled her eyes and made an exasperated noise. Of course, everyone was completely fine with believing in angels and demons and seeing them all over the news because they made a huge deal of themselves. Whereas the fae did not. Because the fae were not so... obvious. That and they had shut themselves off a long time before the angels and demons had gone for reasons that Star was not sure she agreed with.
"I mean, if you want to call me a fairy, you can, but I really prefer fae. Mortals think of a fairy and they imagine this cute little thing hopping around and dripping with fairy dust. But seriously, everyone talks about the angels and the demons and it's like you all forgot about us. It's disappointing." Star waved her hand to vanish the glamoured mirror since it had served its purpose. "Also yes to the relation thing. Because of my brother coming over all those centuries ago. I could ask my parents for the exact date, they've probably got it written on a wall, but we could go ballpark 'a long time ago'." Star crossed her arms over her chest and tilted her head to the side. "Oh!" Her hands shot up to pull her hair back and she turned her head to show off her ears. "Does this help any? I think you guys based your elves off us or something."
