an au trio-era game
2 May 1998, the war has raged for over two years now with Voldemort's hold over the wizarding world becoming terrifyingly tight. Worse, his rage over being unable to find and kill Harry Potter has made him devastatingly volatile. Life after life falls in his wake and no one knows where he will strike next. Then, as the final page of the story was being turned, Neville Longbottom spoke up. Making their last, valiant stand at Hogwarts might have been fine for Voldemort himself and for Harry, but all the innocent there didn't deserve to die. Harry agreed.
One after another, people were rushed through the room of requirement as Hogwarts was attacked. The deafening sound of spells trying to break through the 'protego' charm surrounding the castle, added more fear as each person made their way out through Hogsmeade. It was a night meant as a reckoning for the wizarding world but instead, as Death Eaters entered the Hogwarts grounds they found them empty. Rubble and death greeted the man hellbent on revenge. It is said his scream of hatred and the killings that followed echoed and the dark mark bled so deeply into the sky you could see it throughout the world.
15 July 1998. Two months, the DA and Order have been on the run, formulating plans and growing in numbers. Numbers that are now strong enough to face Voldemort and his wrath. With the help of allies from around the country and Europe, Harry is finally ready to face his fate. To find Voldemort and show him once and for all that the wizarding world will not bow to any 'Dark Lord.'
