 | The year is 2004. As History has told us, the Ministry of Magic likes to hide things from the general public, as to not to cause a panic. Their constant need to keep us in the dark has this time caused catastrophic consequences. An experiment on the veil located in the Department of Mysteries goes terribly wrong. Every single living, breathing person in existence suddenly vanishes, leaving only the clothes and jewelry they were wearing at the time, behind. Witches, Wizards, Muggles... all gone. All but a very small handful of Witches and Wizards that, as fate would have it, were apparating at the exact moment the occurrence happened. They would unknowingly be suspended in time for six hours and would all arrive simultaneously at the exact same place, The Ministry of Magic's Department of Mysteries. They have no idea when they leave that building that they are the last surviving members of society. They are going to have to work together - despite their political beliefs, to rebuild and repopulate their world. It has been 2 weeks since the incident and the following things have happened. The group has moved to Hogwarts, as it's big enough to house everyone and has known protective enchantments, plus it has the nearby village of Hogsmeade to pick up supplies and to reopen businesses. The group has elected the older surviving members as it's new Ministry and those 12 will be making and enforcing the rules. Any characters not yet cast in the game will have fallen under a sleeping virus that they will wake up from once they are being played. They will remember apparating, surviving, coming to Hogwarts and electing the new Ministry, but nothing else as they fell asleep immediately thereafter. | |
