After the downfall of Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters, a new feeling of patriotism among the Wizarding World encouraged plenty of citizens to want to police their world. This caused an influx of employees in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, as more and more people were interested in being Aurors and Hit Wizards. Difference in opinions caused different political groups to emerge, causing the Ministry of Magic to have many more government officials than at once was necessary. With most people focused on the DMLE, less and less people were interested in other career paths.

The Department of Education was created after several years, in order to work with Hogwarts and create a system which would help students choose their career paths. With the redesign of the study programs, the aim was to train students for occupations in other areas, and give them a background to launch them their prospective careers. Hogwarts has successfully implemented this program for the past five years, and continues to show students the various career paths they are able to focus their attention on. As a requirement for graduation now, students are required to choose a path, regardless of whether or not they continue that path after Hogwarts.

The Postludes is a social, next generation Harry Potter game, focusing on the students and their lives at Hogwarts. With events planned throughout the year, we promise an active game!

2006. After years of war and rebuilding, Wizarding Great Britain has finally moved on... sort of. Old prejudices still die hard, after all. School rivalries still ring true, pureblood supremecists still hold their ideals close, and muggleborn rights activists still fight for equality. Though we may not get along, like it or not, we're all still connected.

Six Degrees has an incredibly active and diverse cast of characters, and our goal with the game is to explore the connections between them, especially the not so obvious ones. Rivalries may always exist, even long after Hogwarts is over, but without those House colors to define you, will you still so quickly judge those you meet?

We have been around since mid-December 2010, and have been growing ever since! There aren't complicated game histories to catch up on, and no lengthy reading before you can even think of applying. We offer many open storylines before you even join the game- just look at our wanted post! ♥

The year is 2004.

As History has told us, the Ministry of Magic likes to hide things from the general public, as to not to cause a panic. Their constant need to keep us in the dark has this time caused catastrophic consequences. An experiment on the veil located in the Department of Mysteries goes terribly wrong. Every single living, breathing person in existence suddenly vanishes, leaving only the clothes and jewelry they were wearing at the time, behind. Witches, Wizards, Muggles... all gone. All but a very small handful of Witches and Wizards that, as fate would have it, were apparating at the exact moment the occurrence happened. They would unknowingly be suspended in time for six hours and would all arrive simultaneously at the exact same place, The Ministry of Magic's Department of Mysteries. They have no idea when they leave that building that they are the last surviving members of society. They are going to have to work together - despite their political beliefs, to rebuild and repopulate their world.

It has been 2 weeks since the incident and the following things have happened. The group has moved to Hogwarts, as it's big enough to house everyone and has known protective enchantments, plus it has the nearby village of Hogsmeade to pick up supplies and to reopen businesses. The group has elected the older surviving members as it's new Ministry and those 12 will be making and enforcing the rules. Any characters not yet cast in the game will have fallen under a sleeping virus that they will wake up from once they are being played. They will remember apparating, surviving, coming to Hogwarts and electing the new Ministry, but nothing else as they fell asleep immediately thereafter.

It's 1981. Voldemort is on the rise. Death Eaters roam free. Hundreds have died or disappeared. As each day passes, the resistance grows weaker. Voldemort seems to be invincible and all hope seems lost, that is until a Prophecy is made; a child with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies to those who have thrice defied him and with a power that the Dark Lord will not understand. This child will bring an end to Voldemort's reign. And so the Dark Lord set out to kill this child before he could grow into a threat.

We all know the story, little Harry Potter is that child, his parent's die to protect him, the Dark Lord falls, Sirius Black is sent to prison, The Longbottoms are tortured to insanity, dozens more die, and the survivors are left broken.

But let's not get further into that, because we all know that story. Because, what if the story had a different outcome? What if you had a chance to re-write canon? Decide who lives? Who dies? Who wins the war?

What if you could re-write history?

Here is your chance!

Crescendo is an AU Marauders Era RPG taking place in 1981, when the war is in full swing. Through your actions, the story will slowly unravel into something new and exciting, or still have the same outcome. The ending is unknown, but the journey to discovering it will be a good one.

It's 1943, a new year at Hogwarts has begun and as students return to the safety of the castle walls they fall in and out of love, skip lessons, make friends and continuously whisper speculations about how Myrtle really died. In the center of it all, amongst his friends, a charismatic young boy has quietly begun calling himself Lord Voldemort. As he begins to implement a plan that will change the face of the wizarding world forever the looming threat of Gellert Grindelwald grows nearer.

Grindelwald's revolution is spreading across countries, leaving victims, violence and terror in its wake. In the United Kingdom, far away from Grindelwald's reign, the people's champion, Albus Dumbledore, does not act despite increasing calls to deal with the threat of Grindelwald at last. Caught between Grindelwald's power and the potential of Lord Voldemort which side will you choose?

The time has come and you have to make a choice.
