The fire continues to grow In 1979, war rages in the wizarding world. Masked Death Eaters terrorise innocents, and Muggles and wizards alike are found dead under the Dark Mark. The Ministry is near-helpless, torn between those who want to take a stand against violence and hate, and those who beg for harsher laws to appease the unknown enemy - not to mention those who believe that Voldemort and his Death Eaters have the right ideas in the first place. Nothing they do can please everyone, and more often than not, they opt to please no one. The world is divided, and every day brings new changes. At any moment, anyone might die, and many fear that the Muggles will catch on that there is magic right under their noses. Voldemort is so feared that none dare speak his name, and rumours of immortality and godlike power swirl around him. Some people simply try to live their lives. Some speak out. And some fight. Yet there is no end in sight. All wizarding England is under siege by this nameless, faceless enemy. Lily Potter and Alice Longbottom are not yet pregnant, and there is no prophecy. In a world like this, anything might happen - and anyone may be the next to make history. Don't let it die, let it burn
