The prophecy was fulfilled in that moment Harry Potter cheated death, returning to triumph over the Dark Lord. Or was it really?

There was a second part to the prophecy, a portion Snape had not been present to hear.

"The Dark Lord’s purport has no beginning and no end; when he takes leave to the world beyond the veil, his legacy shall continue in the form of another. The new power is presented to one among his select, one born of the wealth of old with a tongue like a double-edged sword. This archimage knows the power his predecessor knew not and will see the Dark Lord’s sacrifice vindicated. His reign will be without end and unmatched by any former terror the world has known. The only means to vanquish the most high sorcerer lies in wait. He knows not of his own power and remains in the shadow of the-boy-who-lived."

The faceless man took his rightful place that night at the Battle of Hogwarts to the fulfillment of prophecy, banding the remaining faithfuls together to storm the school and, in extension, the United Kingdom in its entirety. His strength came from the death of his former master and was left unchallenged. Harry Potter, the only remaining clue to the prophecy, was deemed missing following the war. His enemies knew what he'd been holding on to, what Albus Dumbledore had warned him would approach.

Archimage, as he deems himself, took full control of the Ministry and began to weed out the goats from the sheep. His followers were given a new name: The Coalition. Their purpose is to refine wizarding society through the fire, and he will not rest until it reflects their image of utopia. The hunt for Harry is still underway, the Ministry sending any potentially dangerous witches and wizards to forced-labor camps, a fate far worse than Azkaban. The former Order of the Phoenix lies in ruins, many of the members missing and presumed dead. The world is economically unstable, and many no longer have the fortitude to fight.
