Dark Mark Rising


The year is 1976, and the marauders have entered their sixth year. There has been talk in pureblood families of a 'Dark Lord', a man who's sole interest is purifying the wizarding world of muggles and muggleborns. He has enlisted the help of Hogwarts students, staff, and men living in Hogsmeade. With these minions, Lord Voldemort has already attacked many muggleborns, blood traitors, and Hogwarts. With the increasing attacks on Hogwarts, Headmaster Dumbledore has been given few options. After a muggleborn's death, the Headmaster has decided to lock the school, while letting the students outdoors for select hours of the day. The Ministry of Magic has sent Hogwarts six aurors to help protect students and screen mail. No one gets in, and no one gets out. Many students believe the attacks are coming from within Hogwarts, and fear the worst.

What are the students to do? Headmaster Dumbledore has come up with the only possible solution - he needs help. He needs a group of trusted people to fight back, and so begins the Order of the Phoenix. Slowly but surely these young witches and wizards will be trained to fight and protect themselves.

LOOK INSIDE YOURSELF and ask some important questions: If you had the opportunity to learn the answers to those what-if’s, would you want to know? Would you try to do it differently the second time? And if the second chance turned out to be less than what you expected it to be, would you be able to handle it? By the year 2025, the Wizarding World had seen two great wars and watched Lord Voldemort fall twice. While most of the world was thriving, the Ministry was aware of several areas that had been evacuated during war and lay in the British countryside like ghost towns. On an afternoon that should have been like any other in one of these abandoned villages there was a loud and sudden CRACK that typically signaled apparation, someone arrived. Two someones actually-- both of whom weren’t supposed to be there at all. As people arrive from times that span over three decades and are forced to settle in far from the homes and times they know, an unsettling feeling spreads through the Wizarding community. Is this a time of second chances? Or does something wicked this way come? Welcome to Transfigured, a Harry Potter time displacement game. Everyone knows the story of Harry Potter. Born to Lily and James Potter, left a scarred orphan before his second birthday, and deemed The Chosen One after Voldemort's return. The boy who spent a year scouring the country for the remaining Horcruxes while war raged and countless died.

But what if you could change history?

Shortly before his death in 1997, Albus Dumbledore held a meeting with the Order of the Phoenix, and he invited several of the adult members of the D.A. as well. With the help of the Department of Mysteries, he was able to procure what few time turners remained, and he asked more of the Order than he ever has before. To go back in time, hunt down the Horcruxes, and defeat Voldemort before the second war ever happens. To prevent the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands. To change the course of history.

Most agree, but there are dangers none of them could have foreseen. There is no guarantee they will be able to return to their own time--or survive long enough to try. Darkness permeates every aspect of the wizarding world, and no one outside of the Order can discover who they are. But most importantly, the combined Order must work together and hunt down the Horcruxes before it's too late.

History is changing right before their eyes. But the war isn't over yet--and things are only getting started.
