That was the night Sirius Black died, the night the Prophecy was destroyed, and the night the Ministry finally admitted that Voldemort had returned. But something else happened that night, something the Ministry never released. Many of the rooms in the Department of Mysteries were damaged, but the Time Turner room was completely destroyed. 1 July 1996. Exactly one week after that fateful night at the Ministry, a stranger arrives in the Department of Mysteries claiming to be from 24 February 1980. Only after Albus Dumbledore interviews this stranger do they realise that this was the night the Prophecy was made. With each day that passes, more people arrive, some who have been dead for the past sixteen years. No one can explain it, and no one can stop it. All they can do is wait and see who is next to arrive while they prepare to fight the war of their lives.

The year is 1977. The Marauders are finishing their final year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but instead of celebration at their successes and preparing for graduation, their minds are on much darker things. The looming threat of Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters increase daily, along with the number of deaths. The Ministry has yet to take a stand and any glimmer of hope is beginning to slowly fade. While Voldemort's numbers increase, though, Albus Dumbledore has slowly been creating a secret defense, a group called the Order of the Pheonix.

On the brink of a war that could make or break both the magical and non-magical worlds, it is time for people to make a choice. What side will they choose, what will they become?

Animagus is a non-canon 7th Year Marauder's Era RPG. Peter doesn't have to betray his friends, Severus may find he doesn't want the life of a Death Eater, Lily and and James don't have to die. But they do have to make a choice.
