The Second War ended in 1998, but left the wizarding world once again divided. An inspiring movement took hold to reform and reintegrate those who found themselves on the losing side of the battle. Today former Death Eaters are neighbors, coworkers, bosses and subordinates. They are simply a part of every day life, a life that goes on the same from day to day. And with the introduction of a program that everyone give up time to give back to their community, is it possible that all of the pain from before is truly behind all of us? Welcome to today, where everything is just Business as Usual.

Will you be next?
For many centuries, Hogwarts has been hailed as the safest place in the word. This was true [unless your name happened to be Harry Potter] until a cold, windy January night in 2023 when screams were heard echoing across the walls. Faculty rushed to the empty corridor on the fourth floor where the sound was thought to be originating from. What they discovered was a pupil dead with strange markings on her arms. Her name was Dalia Fitzsimmons, a half blood fifth year and chaser for the Ravenclaw house. Panic rose throughout the school and students were sent home immediately due to safety. The grounds were searched but no evidence or no foul play was found. No one knows who or what caused Dalia’s death. Now a week has passed and the school has reluctantly reopened. Many were against the reopening, and several parents have decided not to permit their younger children to attend. Society is still up in arms about the murder. Rumors, gossip, and accusations fill the halls of Hogwarts. The questions on everyone’s lips are where were you on the night of Dalia’s death? What did the strange markings mean? Who was behind this? Who will be next?

[info]ecorridor_rpg  is a next-gen Harry Potter rpg game centered around 6th and 7th years students. Our game focuses on creative character development with mysterious flair. Conspiracies and eccentrics are very welcome here. We are also happy to boast that we have actively running classes and clubs as well as a underground radio show and gossip columnist. Join the fun because who can resist a murder mystery?

In the backdrop of an immediately post-war setting, there are young witches and wizards separated from each other via connections and acquaintances who must brave the new era of Life After the Second War.

Who prospers, who fails, who branches out and who stays locked up in the confines of their old traditions? And how much do their lives affect each other?

It's the summer of 1999, a little over a year since the Second War came to an end. Ginny Weasley and the rest of her class have just finished their seventh year at Hogwarts, the Wizarding World is putting the finishing touches on the war repairs, and most people are living their lives freely again. With the watchful eye of Kingsley Shacklebolt, Minister of Magic, it has been reported that all of the Dark Lord's followers have been rounded up and are either being tried or have already been sent off the Azkaban. Whether that is true or not, it has yet to be seen, but most are keen to believe such. The Daily Prophet, in an attempt to redeem itself, has focused the majority of its articles on the positive steps that are being taken in the Wizarding World for equality.

Harry Potter's class has mostly settled into the second year of their adult life, taking on careers and finding their own places. The Ministry, feeling responsible for their hardships during their final year of school - if they were even able to attend - came up with a way to compensate the students, at least by monetary means. In fact, the new alumni have also been compensated, as will several more classes as they finish school. Of course, money isn't the only way the Ministry is paying for its mistakes, several job programs, extra education programs, and counseling are all available to not only students, but anyone that was affected by the war.

With the newfound peace that came to be over the last year, thanks to several new laws and charters put into place to protect all blood statuses, it seems that the Wizarding World doesn't have a care in the world.
