You wake up slowly, the first thing you notice is a low pounding headache and a few cuts and bruises along your body. Once you've determined that no, you're not in any danger of dying from these, you look around the room. The light from the windows is soft and orange - sunrise. The torches on the walls flare in to life and you start to notice the other people in the room with you. Some are still sleeping or unconscious, but a few are sitting up like you and peeking about.

When you get up to walk, the room spins around you. The headache gets a little worse before you stumble to a halt in front of an obviously not-sleeping body. The man in the middle of the room looks old. And even dressed as he is in a bright blue robe with stars on it, he looks dignified and very, very dead. His grey beard is tangled; his hear matted down with blood and grime; his mouth open in a scream. One of his hands is twisted under his body and the other - the other is burned black and the fingers curl inwards like spider legs as it rests on the floor next to his hips. He doesn't look as if he died in his sleep, even without any blood pooling beneath him.

You can't help but look around to the other occupants. You clear your throat.

"Can any of you remember how you get here?"

"Or your name?"

Perfidiose is a game that takes place straight after Dumbledore's death at the end of Harry's sixth year. The characters have all lost their memory and part of the game will be to get it back. While they are trapped at Hogwarts, several parts of the castle as sustained damage and cannot be accessed or will need a lot of cooperation to clear of debris if the characters wish to search through them.
