Children's Show set (Think Pee-Wee's playhouse): includes huge animatronic creepy creatures like a talking chair, a rainbow elephant puppet that says "Braug!" between each sentence. Crazy wild-eyed puppets. There's a a corner for "timeouts", as well as a Tickle Trunk that contains costumes for dressing up. The costumes are non-optional, people.

When: backdated to Memorial Day Weekend
Where: Australia! No really, Heath and Sarah bail on the whole team sport thing, to go visit Heath's parents.
What: A trip to Australia people. Talk of kangaroos, Marz the dragon, and they go to a boardwalk with those kind of board walk games ... You know. It's official. I can not summarize to save my life. NPC's in this are Davis and Marie-Ange!

Joan barely even tolerated sharing a room with Andi. Nothing against the girl herself. Before Joan came to the school, she never had a roommate. No siblings, not even pesky cousins on weekends. She can deal with Andi. Up to a point. But that's what the common rooms are for. Or somewhere outside. Or Richard's room. Always a place to run! However, right at this very moment, Joan has no place to run.
It's near the time when normal people to go sleep. Joan sits on the floor with her knees pulled to her chest. She watches the other girls moving around and seeing to their bedtime rituals. Joan's rituals consist of washing her face and pulling her hair back. That's all. Her pajamas appear to be quite old, jogging pants and a shirt that says "CONEY ISLAND LITTLE LEAGUE" on the front and "ALLERDYCE" on the back. Yeah, that's pretty old. She feels quite unglamorous right now. And perhaps a little frightened of the other girls in this room.

Why: Because this RP has been going on for how long and there hasn't been a bar scene? It's due time!
"OK, non-American beer. check. Bartender. check. Music. check." He looked back at the rest of the crew. "I'm happy."
Of course down the street were some other clubs, but Dane was content for now. Took little, really, but looking on some of the faces, they wouldn't be there for very long.
"I suppose if I add 'I'm getting first round', will that help?"
OOC: Note: The Barton twins, who would *SO* be there, are not. They are on their spell sabbatical. But they are most unhappy to be missing out (Wes, especially). |

Today, Building One officially became The Xavier Building and Building Two had become The MacTaggert Building. Sean had always said that the buildings should be named, but there had always been some sort of crises that had to be dealt with, and in the end, giving the buildings names had been at the very bottom of everyone's to do list.
When the decision had been made to name the buildings, Emma decided that simply putting a plaque on the front of each wouldn't be enough. There had to be an official ceremony.
