I can't say it was always the case, but I didn't even know what I was until a few months ago. Once they explained it to me and I knew it was something I could control, I did everything I could to not hurt anyone with it.

I guess it's just disappointing to see that most everything else is accepted here, and I'm still an outsider.

That's the White Court for you. They never do explain it until it's too late.

You have to admit, sex is still pretty personal, even when it's "casual." If it wasn't, it wouldn't be nearly as satisfying.
