So, I've been pretty sparse lately, and I probably SHOULD have hiatused, because I know fall (particularly October and November) is always pretty busy for me. BUT I DIDN'T.

So, IC, Rook was missing for much of Firstfall/November. It's not uncommon for her to disappear for several days at a time without a word and then show back up out of the blue, because she's a stray cat, but this would be the longest disappearance to date.

OOC, I think I let some things fall by the wayside. If you'd like to pick them up, or plot all new things, hit me up! =D

Anyone in on this or with them in the tavern last night would be surprised with Luren proposing to Oz in front of them. It is shiny because Luren has a lot of money. This is the background. He was probably sweet and sentimental but joking too because Oz knew this was coming. The two of them were accepting drinks, food, and gifts.

We're about a quarter of the way through the game, so it's time for a fresh Plot With Me post! This is your chance to reintroduce your characters and solicit new lines! WELP I AM SO SORRY AGAIN, guys, I've been really off my game health-wise the last couple weeks but I'm almost back to normal. Slowly climbing back on top of that ball. :[

I'm down to only three logs, though, so if you wanna scene with either of mine, here's yer chance as I restock ♥ I'll be emailing a few people about some plot stuff, but lmk if you want something -- I might not be able to charge full-speed ahead on all of them as I prioritise gameplot-relevant ones, but come at me anyway so we can get it on the docket! And new people, hi!

As a refresher, I've got:

• CASSIDY duelist, 33yo elven Crow with ties to Antiva City & Orlais, taciturn and snarky. Common sight in the shadier sides of town.


• OLIVIER CASTILLO necromance, 45yo Mortalitasi mage and Cumberland native, local Circle papa, charming and flirty except he's going to go a bit screwy thanks to the tainted lyrium... Common sight anywhere at more tasteful watering holes, and anywhere you can gamble.

I'm Milli, at magnipheasant. It's sparkly new because IJ ate my old one due to inactivity :/ Oops. But I'm happy to have new frands! I don't think I know or have written with any of you before after a quick glance at the roster, but possibly? Regardless, I'm excited to meet and write with all of you! I really can't top a cone-laden key-smashing puppy in this intro for drama factor (I mean honestly, who can?) and I feel like my intros always turn into this anyway →


Cool? Nope. Awkward. Well done, Milli. So I'll cut to the chase. I've brought in two new kiddos right off the bat, because I'm über greedy like that. I'm equally greedy for lines, plots and all sorts of tangle-y goodness *grabby fingers* including back logs. I already introduced both characters pretty extensively here on the plotting page, so I won't repost detail.

Skalah stormwings is a Grey Warden mage and griffon rider. She arrived in Cumberland just a few weeks ago, so any relations she'll have with non-wardens should mostly be fresh. She's like a slightly feral Avvar Beyoncé with adrenaline junkie tendencies. Cormac the_threnodies is a Cumberland native and has been a Templar for ten years now, so he'd be an established fixture. He's basically 6.5ft of banged-up heart with street kid smarts and a perma-scowl. I'm more than happy to plot/log backstory with anyone interested. :) That's about it for me. So excited to be here!

Silyara is at it again with the character thaaaaaaang.

Marin Voclain is a 63 year old chevalier here from Orlais who has spent over 35 years in the Empire's service and is, as such, a trusted member to come here. He's a (thin) mountain at 6'6" and even treats commoners better than most chevaliers. Though honestly, he is a drama alpaca and can be an ass to about anyone when it comes down to it. He's here in service to the Empire and hoping to avoid a lot of dramatic shit. You can guess how well that hope will go. Not.

What is not publicly known!!!

He was born Aymeric Jacquard far off in the west of Orlais with stories the only parenting he received. He managed to run off and become a bard successfully for over ten years before, to save themselves, his employer outed his identity with the rumors... which earned a price on his head from, among others, the House of Repose. He in turn gave juicy gossip that led to the murders/deaths of almost everyone related to his employer, who happened to be Marin Voclain's father. He tracked down and murdered the boy and took over his name. Right around that time he slept with a woman and fathered everyone's favorite templar (and if you have another favorite, Marin says you are wrong) Sylvaine. Which he's not particularly aware of what happened to mother or child. As ye do when the game is going on. Anywho, he became a chevalier to save himself from everyone who wanted to kill actual Marin Voclain and has been keeping up the ruse ever since.

He experiences a lot of emotional dissonance, has a worse opinion of himself as a person than any of you actually could, and is a better person than he thinks he is (chevalier honor and stuff having actually rubbed off).

PLOTS: Other Orlesians (he'll know ALL OF YOU, yes each of you... what kind of relationship/how close or not etc up for grabs), people who love telling stories (bards DO exist outside of Orlais after all), Grey Wardens he wants the glamorized version of your lives and whatnot. And his shit will spiral out, so anyone who wants to get involved in that kind of stuff. His past is coming back to roost. Oh and eventually he may hire the Crows to kill him. Mmhmm, he will go out wondrously or not at all.

He's so much older than most peeps that honestly anyone 40+ he could use to make friends with. Full glory here.

This is Chrissie with numero cuatro, MADDOX BARTEN. He's a human rogue from Ferelden who may or may not be some sort of insane. His full profile is readable HERE! But here are a few highlights:

• Most people know him as any of the following: Mad Maddox, Maddox the Mad, Mad Max, etc.
• He and his crazy aunt got along really well before she died. He has numerous siblings, so if you want to play one of those who facepalms at him and would rather say they're not related to him, let me know.
• Maddox probably knows a lot of people. He's been around all over and is known for his get-rich-quick schemes that either end in immense success or utter disaster.
• He's all over the place and lives in the moment. So he's probably had relationships that fizzled out just as quickly as they began
• Maddox is actually a nice guy, and most people like him, despite how freaking impulsive he can be.
• Crows have been hired to take him out. If you play a Crow, I sent you an email, so please check your inbox. :)
• Regarding the previous bullet point, he's extra jumpy lately.

I also play ADAN SARAZIN (bridledrage), ATHEYA (intothinair), and OSBORN LOUCHART (stoodfirm) and I'm down for anything with them! :)

Brahda Dace is a smol and baby faced 30-year-old Merchants' Guild negotiator, aka a "charm or harm" person. She'd much rather charm, because charming people leaves a lot less collateral damage and people are generally not quite as useful to the Guild when they are dead. She's doing her best to impress and rise in the ranks of the Merchant Guild.
