Hi everyone!
I'm Milli, at magnipheasant. It's sparkly new because IJ ate my old one due to inactivity :/ Oops. But I'm happy to have new frands! I don't think I know or have written with any of you before after a quick glance at the roster, but possibly? Regardless, I'm excited to meet and write with all of you! I really can't top a cone-laden key-smashing puppy in this intro for drama factor (I mean honestly, who can?) and I feel like my intros always turn into this anyway →

Cool? Nope. Awkward. Well done, Milli. So I'll cut to the chase. I've brought in two new kiddos right off the bat, because I'm über greedy like that. I'm equally greedy for lines, plots and all sorts of tangle-y goodness *grabby fingers* including back logs. I already introduced both characters pretty extensively here on the plotting page, so I won't repost detail.

Skalah

stormwings is a Grey Warden mage and griffon rider. She arrived in Cumberland just a few weeks ago, so any relations she'll have with non-wardens should mostly be fresh. She's like a slightly feral Avvar Beyoncé with adrenaline junkie tendencies. Cormac

the_threnodies is a Cumberland native and has been a Templar for ten years now, so he'd be an established fixture. He's basically 6.5ft of banged-up heart with street kid smarts and a perma-scowl. I'm more than happy to plot/log backstory with anyone interested. :) That's about it for me. So excited to be here!

We've discussed a bit on the !pwm post buuuuuuuuut...

For Skalah: Cas the friendly ex thing. Please pity him, he's having to interact with his royal and noble family and he hates all of this. SO MUCH. Noëlle and Narazda.... no clue but I feel like at least on the independent women who don't take no crap, Skalah would approve??? I also NPC the Warden Commander, who also rides a griffon and may be of interest!!! She's an almost 20 year veteran, so they've interacted lots for sure. There's a tourney coming up in which she can participate if you like??? There are definitely more battles happening than the named 3.

For Cormac: I just want to throw Noe at him every which way, okay. Anything, everything, let's introduce them, please. (Also, hilarious but true - they had the same last name, at least initially???? She didn't become d'Orly until she was 3, it was Martin prior to that ahahahahahahahaha what, idek anymore). Political kryptonite, want. Also...... I'm down with him having been friendly with Cas before Cas' Major Fuck-Up, because I like making Cas suffer. Potential rebuilding of friendship line??? Something? Narazda.... well, she will take your money and feed your vices, so there's that.

Skalah → I'm really looking forward to the friendly ex/bros time, actually. And all the smutty novel group readings. ^.^ She definitely feels for ya, Cas. Family's crazy. But Noble family? She can't even imagine. Thumbs up for all of the take-no-shit women in Cumberland, even if some of them wear shoes way too pretty to be practical. Ew. As for the Warden Commander - yaaas. Major respect from Skalah. I'm muy interested in any war stories or general past shenanigans they might have shared. And PLEASE sign her up for the tourney. There is no way she'd miss out on that.

Cormac → Thiiiis. Omigosh yes. PLEASE TO THROW ALL THE THINGS, Noe. All of it. I'm all about it. Do you prefer gdocs or ijthreading? Also the surname coincidence is hilarious. What even!? Gah. So with Cas, possible friendship repair sounds fun, actually. Probably rocky, but fun! I think he'd have been the sort Cormac would have been cool befriending back before the 'oops' moment, with Cas being legitly mentored and generally having his shite together. Aaaand now it's Cormac's turn to be the fuck up. Oh, karma, buddy. ;) Thanks for the vice, Narazda.

I WANT CORMAC IN MY LIFE SO. I always prefer gdocs, for flow. Wanna intro them for the first time? We can backdate to ball (if he went) or do chantry (she goes regularly, amazingly enough) orrrrrrrrr somewhere in town idk. AND CAS CAN BE YOUR FORMERLY FAIL FRIEND WHO GOT HIS ACT TOGETHER. They need to have an ~encounter~ on the loopy lyrium tbh.

Alright, great. Same here. I'd love too! Either option is good - at the ball he'd probably be there semi-reluctantly to represent the order, feeling a little like chum in a shark tank but doing his best to play it cool. He'd be more at ease in the chantry, unless she was there early in the morning and caught him making his way back to the Templar barracks after an off duty night. Depends on the tone you'd like. What's your poison? I'm happy to start when I'm home in a bit, unless you've got ideas. :)

Also YES to loopy lyrium lunacy.

Midha and Skalah def friendly I think? Maybe used to be/still is/will be casual bed partners because ain't nobody got time for commitment? And we can definitely maybe have Skalah and Sorin meet sometime soonish?

And Cormac idk if we agreed on anything specifically but have whatever you want from Midha and Sorin basically. I'm attracted to habit Cormac and Sorin be friends maybe??? Depending on timelines maybe they met when they were teenagers (since that was the first time Sorin left the Alienage ever) or more recently or maybe they can meet down the line???

Yes definitely. Let's see how they interact and lock down specifics from there, maybe? Ain't nobody got time for that, indeed. There are hurlocks to explode and such. Come on, now. Also yes to Sorin. Cannot lie, the guy is pinchably adorable.

I'm not sure about Midha for Cormac, but I can see him having crossed paths with Sorin before. He was pretty familiar with the alienage as a kid, and he's only three years older than Sorin. So possibly some goofy kiddo fun was had there and they could have remained pals? We can always knock out details. I'm fine with either!

Sounds good to me!! We can do a pre-log for Midha and Skalah, or have something just before the tourney, or at the tourney????? Just to see how they gel together. and idk if you want to say that Skalah was at Midha's Joining or not, I think it's established that Adan and Cas were iirc, and idk if Skalah would've been involved in the skirmish that led to Midha getting conscripted, but I'm open to anything. ^_^ And Sorin will def be at the tourney, though not participating, only watching, but if not there I'm sure we'll find other places to connect them~ (and he will 100% ogle at her griffon negl)

So I finally got around to reading Cormac's bio (saw your post while at rehearsal, flailed, and quickly typed up my response because alkjdf;lksjdf;) and YES, I'd say he and Sorin probably knew each other as kids, and since Cormac looks human could be one of Sorin's first piece of evidence that #NotAllHumansSuck and that's why Sorin doesn't hate humans on principle (idk if Cormac would've confided to Sorin as a kid that he's half elf)??? So goofy kid fun and still friends, I'm all for this!! ^_^

Basically anything I can involve Skalah in, I'm all in for. So we can say she was at Midha's joining and the sprawl that lead to it, if that works for you. I'm mobile at the moment but I'll read her profile in detail later tonight to see what that really gets Skalah into. But definitely up for logging them pre-tourney. Also, Skalah's griffon is a puffed-up, proud snippy bastard (who she absolutely adores) so he soaks up gawking like its no ones business. He's welcome to it!

Oh, slummy kids. This makes me smile. And thanks for the text smash flail, haha. I adore Skalah but he's kinda my bebe already, cannot lie. He wouldn't have told Sorin about his parentage as kids because he was taught to think of it as a major point of shame because it's part of the reason he wasn't worthy of being kept by his mum, but he might tell him at some point in the future if they've stayed pal-y and it comes up. Also, I read Sorin's intro post and Cormac WAS mentored by a fantastic old Orlesian Chevalier, and the manners definitely rubbed off. So that process might have been a laugh for Sorin to watch. Regardless, I'm excited for them to be pals now. Cormac's happy to be a non-shitty human example.

For that fight that gets Midha conscripted, it basically lands Skalah and other Grey Wardens into some gang territory in Starkhaven, they get ambushed, everyone is killed except Midha because ~mad duelist skillz bro~ and so they conscript her instead. But np, take your time, I've only just managed to find a breather at work!! But yes, let us log pre-tourney things! I can get you a starter later this evening unless you'd rather do it~ I need more things for Midha so I'm super eager for this!!

And oh man, Sorin and Chevaliers, particularly ex-Chevaliers, he's about to have a COMPLEX about them, kekeke. XDDDD;;;;;; But~ yes, Sorin would have enjoyed seeing the transition, and if he ever gets to/had an opportunity to see Cormac fight he'll probably notice a few similarities in style beyond just the Guardian thing. ^-^ If you want Cormac to have told Sorin, we can say that it's come up. Sorin would've been fascinated but natch wouldn't have changed his opinion on Cormac. But yes, they can still be pals, for sure~ :DDDDDD

Eee yay logs! And yeah, I've seen some of your CDJ posts about work stuff. What a load of crazy right now - fun crazy it sounds, but still a load. *lol* Yes, it's weird because even my team lead is like OMG TAKE A VACATION NEXT WEEK but I don't feel overworked? Tired, yeah, but my job is awesome so I'm not complaining. ^-^ But yes, I can get you the starter....... when I'm feeling more sober because I don't know if writing when tipsy is the best idea ever or the worst. I mean, I AM writing a dwarf, so maybe tipsy is appropriate??? XDDDDDDDD

And sounds good to me for Sorin/Cormac log! My plate is getting a little fuller now but if you want to toss me a starter we can do something, or we can wait a bit too, I'm okay with either! ^_^

I'm Zoe, as you obviously saw from my intro, it's nice to meet you! Here AND in my icon journal! I missed your plotting page post, alas, but I don't have much to offer you yet with just Madeira, but I love both of your concepts and their faces, and I will most definitely be able to throw future potential characters of mine at both of them.

What was the cone for? Hopefully nothing too serious. And yes I saw, I hadn't gotten to tackling all the lovely 'incoming char' posts, but Madeira looks great. Necromancer <3. And ALL of your concepts oh my goodness! Sean Bean as a Warden, yes. Also so glad to see someone using a face from Shannara. I have a Poppy Drayton faced concept floating around in my head. I can never stop at two characters. It's almost a syndrome.

Me too! It's supposed to be all fixed but naturally new issues keep rearing their ugly heads, alas.

The puppy got spayed last week, so the cone was unfortunate but routine! No big deal. :) Don't worry about hitting up my post, I'm really terrible at jumping on intros that go up before mine, and I'm sure we'll have plenty of opportunities to plot. Also love your choices in PBs!

intentioned] is just soooo going to become a warden at some point. He's an exiled Orzammar dwarf who really likes to fight things. And thus he's been mercenarying it up for over a decade (he worked with Adan for a while). He is pretty easy to convince to do some of those crazy things she likes. Just as long as they are not in the sky bc woaaaah there nelly on that.

I'm not sure whether Sabrina [

somniari] or Pilar [

deathward] would be better as a mage friend. Neither of them is close to her in age, but they're very different types of mages... Sabrina is a blood mage who just came of age (a dreamer) with many complicated political feels and whatnot. Pilar is a necromancer and high up in the Mortalitasi, very pro-Nevarran. She was Cas's mentor and will be coming out sometimes to the Grey Wardens bc of him.

Pilar would also definitely know Cormac bc this is her circle. She gets along with most templars whether she likes them or not. Buuuut open to things there.

Marin here is the same height as him, though you know a rogue instead of a warrior. And he's newish around town, but he is a noble and is so for using people. If he can use you in some way, he totally will. He can sell a good story. And honestly, if you can turn your rumors into a good story, you can make something of yourself. Or just get a different ID. Whichever.

Inge is my Plot PC who is a Carta dwarf who can totally have helped him hook up with lyrium in the past a plenty. She's a good source for his problematic side. >]

bridledrage) → oh hai, Skalah! Adan has been a warden for about ten years and so they should know each other, y/y? Adan and her can be friends but not in the buddy/buddy way. He probably thinks she's cool!

maybecrazy) → May know Skalah because he's tried to sell things to Wardens in the past. He's possibly crazy, and does a lot of get-rich-quick schemes that work (but not all the time, just a lot of the time). Nothing immediate for Cormac other than possible past interactions where Cormac was like "This guy tho."

BUT HI! I'm Cheryl, welcome to the game!

For now, I only have one character. Rook is a rogue/bard (but definitely only an entertainer, not a thief, noooope no way >.>), a Dalish elf who ran away as a teenager to see the ~world~ and have ~adventures~. She is upbeat and ridiculously ~~nosy~~ curious.

Mostly, she just wants to ask Skalah ALL the questions about her WHOLE, FASCINATING LIFE, ok.
