PLOT WITH ME 2.0

We're about a quarter of the way through the game, so it's time for a fresh Plot With Me post! This is your chance to reintroduce your characters and solicit new lines! Okay, so my characters are all over the boards all the time, I almost feel bad posting this, but here we go.

Caspian Pentaghast | unfavored
The artist formerly known as Prince Caspian. Grey Warden necromancer. Squishiest of squishy feels babies. Trying to prove himself, only he's the only one who still thinks he needs to. All his pre-Warden friends are women. Actually, all his closest friends are women, period, idek. Drinks with dwarves (and regrets it every time but always goes back for more). Hates politics. Wants to stay out of the way of his royal and noble relations (so plz bother him, nobles).

I mean okay lbr she's the well-dressed sociopath with a dozen knives hidden under her skirt at any given time and ice water in her veins? Orlesian bard on the hunt for her father's murderer, will stop at literally nothing (treason, ha, that's so last year) to find him. Does not comprehend how to emotion and gets angry at herself and the world if she Feels Things. Is half elf, which she is about to find out and will likely spend the rest of the game TRYING TO HIDE FROM THE WORLD.

Angry elven reaver anarchist. Only he's got a heart of gold and just wants to help the weak, okay??? Thinks the current political systems are fucked. Thinks most humans suck (except his attached-at-the-hip brother/soulmate/it's complicated). Thinks mages should probably just be set on fire for the safety of everyone. Goes around armed and regularly walks into "no elves served" establishments and demands service to start fights. On the run from the Tevene army, whoops.

aka MY PROBLEM CHILD. Happy go lucky (and slightly crazy) sea captain, currently stuck in town while her ship undergoes repairs. Sails with an all-female crew. Does business with anyone except slavers. Hits on anyone with boobs, more or less. Has like no plot. NO PLOT. HALP GUYS.

cloudgazer (Dwarf | Rogue, Dual Daggers (Duelist/Assassin) | Grey Warden | age: 30)
An ex-Carta smuggler who was conscripted into the Wardens ~2 years ago, Midha has recently decided to disown her previous affiliation with the crime syndicate after the events of the past few weeks. She’s not happy about being with the Wardens, and she’s still trying to figure out her way. She’s fun-loving, drinks a lot, gambles a lot, does casual sex, but omg serious relationships (platonic and romantic), how do.

Wanted lines:
* Missing younger brother comes back into her life?
* More Wardens to Warden with
* People who knew her in Starkhaven when she ran with common thugs
* Old victims of hers, or friends/family of old victims of her from when she was a criminal
* Friends! Purely platonic, friends with benefits, USTy friends, etc?

SORIN GHRIAN

sunnyelf (Elf | Warrior, Sword and Shield (Guardian) | City Elf | age: 25)
Currently employed at Brouillard’s Clothiers, a clothing shop for wealthy clientele, Sorin is an amputee elf from the Alienage who is proving to everyone around him -- and most importantly, himself -- that he is more than appearances would suggest. Has recently gotten his heart broken by finding out that his dead mentor was responsible for the purge of the Val Chevin alienage a few years back, and has since been becoming more and more radicalized. He’s not an angry elf, though. He’s a happy, optimistic, and friendly elf. But underneath his smile and laughter is a lonely soul. Also: loves fashion.

Wanted lines:
* City elves! He’s been kind of an outcast from the elves of the Alienage for a few years now, and I would LOVE to explore this dynamic (would especially to love to play him against an ex-boyfriend, but literally anyone will do~)
* Elves of all walks of life! Because his mentality is “elves help elves because no one else will” which he’s becoming more and more passionate about (see: radicalization of the bb)
* More antagonistic lines, tbh XD (Possibilities: mages from Tevinter, people who disapprove of a city elf knowing how to fight, people who disapprove of a city elf starting to become more outspoken AND wanting to DO something to help the elves, people who actually cannot with his cinnamon roll nature, etc.)
* And yes, more friends too~
* And anyone who can help me torture the bb more because I have a problem guys XD

ALIA PENTAGHAST

stetistis (Human | Warrior, Two-Handed Weapon (no specialization) | Princess | age: 23)
The king’s niece, Alia is a strong-hearted young woman who, in spite of her seemingly flighty nature when it comes to her parents, is a proud Nevarran and Pentaghast. She’s also a bleeding heart who awkwards around commoners, but to see her be her true self and at her most comfortable, catch her at the ducal palace training grounds where she’s hoping to start training as a berserker. She’s also a bookworm. Oh, and she hates her parents (but does not dislike the rest of her family).

Rosalind Margrace (

aspros, human mage/spirit healer) → squishy free marcher circle mage with a heart of marshmallow and an army of abandonment issues. has been with the circle since she was ~9, and calls cumberland home because that's what it is. most notably childhood friends with caspian, even after he left the tower. kind, friendly, bossy when need be.

currently a relic hunter for the circle, which means she could've come across all sorts of people in nevarra in the last couple months!
regularly volunteers at clinics! let nurse ros heal/have healed you!

minarchist, human rogue/assassin) → charming ~~but deeply damaged~~ tevene revolutionary and mercenary who is currently on the run from the imperial army with his attached-at-the-hip brother/soulmate/it's complicated since they left tevinter 9 years ago. son of a long-dead magister, whose issues with mages and family are also #complicated. has only been in cumberland for the last ~2 months. friendly, flirty and avoidant of his past.

anyone he (and lev) could have met in their last 9 years of merc-ing!
past one night stands he probably wouldn't honor now because LOL INTIMACY ISSUES, but hey.

suledin, elven rogue/artificer) → antivan crow currently in town on a mission to take out the king, but at her own pace. born and raised antivan, has probably traversed thedas on contracts. was an orphan before the crows took her in, who she's been with ever since. close with the other crows in town, but is typically independent. sarcastic, playful, deeply apathetic toward most things. AND MY PROBLEM CHILD.

connections outside of the crows -- informant-types, since she's been in town the last couple months.
real friends are hard but, something close enough????? to maybe become a real friend???

reverential, human mage/knight enchanter) → first enchanter of the cumberland circle. nevarra-city born before being sent off to the cumberland circle. her only family is her once-apostate but now-tranquil mother in nevarra, but she's been here in cumberland for much of her life. determined, curious, so committed to the circle.

younger mages in the cumberland circle, she proooobably watched you grow up and/or taught you. older mages, she looked up to you or was in classes with you!
people whose minds she can pick -- she's a sucker for deep discussions and back and forths.
younger mages to adore, come at her.

Advisor to the king, high ranking member of the Nevarran death cult, mother hen and sex educator of the Circle. Despite it being her natural home, she never really relaxes anywhere ~~public, at least not easily. She's snarky, loyal to Nevarra, and likes to make connections outside the mages.

Cumberland locals (at least for a few years) who are her frenz. Can be from any walk of life.
Romance or two, current or ex!
Lets politic. People also involved in politics.
Someone who gets under her skin. It'd be good for her.

One of the most recent Grey Warden recruits, Asmund has really taken to this life over that of being a mercenary. Still, it also takes him farther away from some of his friends, which has him worried over them. Even so, he's handling life stuff so well, someone should make that harder for him. Huge feels. Will take care of you.

More wardens he's getting to know (or people being recruited *cough*).
Someone with ties to some part of his past, to drudge something up. Whether that's Orzammar or somewhere else over the globe.
Someone in love with him, who he's not in love with? I mean, just for the irony.

Bitter selfish mage who came here on a personal quest and has just discovered her parents. She's headed down a dark path, but honestly she's so full of feels and happiness right now she's ignoring the little bits of darkness there are.

Mentor, the person who's taught her how to wield herself as a weapon and go for what she wants.
Political lines. Let her make some mark on these negotiations.
Nevarrans who convince her this place is shit. Deserves no mercy.

Chevalier protecting the Orlesian contingent. He preemptively murdered Noëlle's father, Antoine D'Orly, and has adoptive kiddos in Noëlle and Bastien. He's starting to become more concerned about how they do than he does. He doesn't realize that.

Chevaliers! Either a best friend (woo) or someone who's a pain in the ass. However you wanna go.
Romance for the road. Honestly, I'd love to see him court someone etc etc.
Axe to grind. Someone (else) who wants to kill him, either for things the chevaliers did or for Voclain money, whatever.

Perennially single Dalish elf who takes care of the clan's halla. She's comin' to town for some kids and she stay for her own. She's going to be striking out on her own for the first time, so she could use aaaaall sorts of people.

Romance that outlasts her expectations. She never expects them to last, but this person is still around. What.
The push out the door. Could be an NPC we already have, could be whatever, but this person(s) helps motivate her to leave the clan behind. Push or pull.
People she's met before, even if only for a week or two. Long time no see, like woah.
People who understand Orlesians and their emotional flaws/limits. Pls help her get to know her daughter.
