New character!
Hi, y'all!

This is Chrissie with numero cuatro, MADDOX BARTEN. He's a human rogue from Ferelden who may or may not be some sort of insane. His full profile is readable HERE! But here are a few highlights:

  • Most people know him as any of the following: Mad Maddox, Maddox the Mad, Mad Max, etc.
  • He and his crazy aunt got along really well before she died. He has numerous siblings, so if you want to play one of those who facepalms at him and would rather say they're not related to him, let me know.
  • Maddox probably knows a lot of people. He's been around all over and is known for his get-rich-quick schemes that either end in immense success or utter disaster.
  • He's all over the place and lives in the moment. So he's probably had relationships that fizzled out just as quickly as they began
  • Maddox is actually a nice guy, and most people like him, despite how freaking impulsive he can be.
  • Crows have been hired to take him out. If you play a Crow, I sent you an email, so please check your inbox. :)
  • Regarding the previous bullet point, he's extra jumpy lately.
I also play ADAN SARAZIN ([info]bridledrage), ATHEYA ([info]intothinair), and OSBORN LOUCHART ([info]stoodfirm) and I'm down for anything with them! :)

He may have crossed paths with them at some point. He travels all over the place, so it could've been taverns or in the streets! Accidents or him trying to sell stuff to the Wardens? XD

If he ever tried to sell anything to Noëlle, she wis have been like, ummmmmmmmmmmmm I think not. On the flip side, Cas would totally buy whatever..... not for the Wardens since he doesn't do their purchasing, but for himself, lololol

Lolol, Noëlle is smart, that's why. XD But he's at least nice and wouldn't be overly pushy at her about it. And he'd think she's awfully purdy. Before he gets distracted by something. XD

And lawd, yes, Cas. XD Yessssssssssssss. What kinda random thing could we have Maddox have sold Cas? Heheh, something silly but possibly useful in like . . . one situation at random.

He looks like so much fun!! :D I don't know how to initially connect him to Midha or Sorin. Midha might be easiest depending on his travels through the Free Marches; he's pretty enough she might have considered sleeping with him but depending on how he presented himself to her, she might have decided not to ("never sleep with crazy it never ends well"), lmao. IDK we can discuss! Sorin though I have no freaking clue but if you have anything lmk, I'm open!!

I think any random interactions via travels. He travels all over the place, I think, and would end up talking to people because he's actually pretty friendly. And he would've presented himself as a bit scatter-brained. So long as they weren't in a fight and she didn't get him talking about the properties of flasks, he might almost seem normal, just a liiiiiitle off. XD

Oh, I am SO looking forward to seeing Maddox in play. What a delightful character.

If at all possible, I'd love to throw Reha at him as a friend or business deal of some sort because on the one hand, she'd really appreciate his salesmanship and credit his past successes to skill rather than luck but on the other hand, his apparent instability and chaos inducing life choices would frustrate the crap out of her.

I think that Rook and Maddox would get along SWIMMINGLY. She would find his brand of crazy oh so fun, and probably easily be sucked into his high jinks. They're both rogues who wander from city to city, so they may have crossed paths before. She may even have been one of his past flings that fizzled out when they parted ways? Or, they could meet for the first time now. =D

Yassss! And not all his high jinks turn out bad, so they could've easily crossed paths and maybe he helped her get some money. And I think it'd be fun if they had some history! So it's like, no hard feelings and stuff?

That would be great! They crossed paths, ran some scheme, and parted ways without hard feelings. And I mean, he's got enough people out to kill him, he probably needs some who have friendly history with him. XD

Asmund is probably the only one of mine who'd possibly know him already. Mostly in a head shakey kinda way. Maybe friendship like that? He doesn't care to get rich, so he'd never have gone in on the schemes.

Also I want an Asmund/Adan log where they talk about grey wardens :D:D:D

Rofl, I like that idea of friendship. And when he sees Maddox again, he's probably heard about what went down and is reminded of why he didn't go into one of Maddox's schemes. Even if he doesn't care about getting rich, it's better then losing a ton, right?

And OMG, yasssss! We can have them hanging out at a tavern?

hello pretty man~ for whom i have.... little, i think, apart from my obvious rogue/crow! i didn't get a chance to reply to the email you sent out to us crow players, so what are your thoughts on how long you're planning to keep him in game? :o idril's plate is a bit full atm (she has to kill the king, nbd), BUT future plans????

bastien and ros i'm not sure, though i think ros would get on with him better? and that reminds me how i wanted to poke you for osborn/rosalind stuff because she has an irrational fear of templars, which clearly is healthy :|
