Missing something - Peter Petrelli - OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Peter sat in the lobby, he'd made plans to meet Faith but wanted a bit of time just to sort out some notes he'd made on Emma, it was insane, she was physically fine, he'd even considered using her blood, but she was healthy bar...

There was something, something blocking him from being able to help her and he hated it, Its what he did, he helped, he saved people if he could and here was someone he couldn't.

He read through his notes again making sure he'd been through but annoyingly, infuriatingly he could think of nothing he'd missed.

He took a drink of the soda he'd taken from the bar and settled in to read through it again.

Doctors and Nurses meeting (Boathouse)

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Jack Harkness, Ana Clark, Martha Jones, Peter Petrelli, Derek Shepherd. (Plot Locked, closed, no tags from outsiders, please. If I forgot a person from the previous meeting post, that was tagged and locked to said post, please PM me here or email me at slavetoserendipiity@gmail.com)

When: The Friday before the meteor shower, right after meeting in the lobby.

Why: They had business to discuss about the clinic for Here and some patients.

Status: Incomplete.

*Ana escorted everyone into the boathouse, closed the door and waited a moment then she got right down to business.*

Did anyone notice if we were followed? I've had some minor spells put on this place to keep out any unwanted or unwarranted guests.

*She waited for people to pipe up and then she dove into business.*

Jack, I invited you here today because I so cannot decipher Gwen's notes and knowing what you do outside, in the real world. Well, I need to know if we are dealing with an enemy viral threat of some kind? She has exhibited her illness for weeks now, far longer then most normal viral encounters. Unless, she has an immunity disorder she doesn't know of at the moment? We have patients here with extremely case sensitive conditions. HCM, a medical mutation of the heart wall, patient subject: Lucas Scott. Who you Jack and you Martha have helped in a very grand capacity, previously. The other, and this is where I need your complete and utter diligence in keeping a secret just between us medical types and well, sorry Jack, but because of Gwen and her condition, you as well. I already have been contacted by an anon sicko who insisted that I was being a bitch for trying to keep some type of patient/practitioner privilege in place, especially in a scenario like this, it seems even more important that we do keep some modicum of real world ethics in place. So, I need everyone here, in this room to re-take your oaths so to speak, for the sake of ethics and the lives, the very delicate lives of some of the people who have wound up Here. Anyone opposed to re-stating their oaths can get up and leave this room, now. I've re-opened the clinic to this place and have been put in complete control of the medical facility. Meaning anything goes wrong and it is on my head, figuratively and theoretically speaking.

Quietly Building - OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Jack Harkness and OTA (Who/TW Folk and Anyone Else)
Where: Outside in the snow.
When: Still daylight.
Summary: So much has been destroyed. Jack decides to build something.
Rating: He might swear, so let's make it 'R' to be careful.

"Peace is a daily, a weekly, a monthly process, gradually changing opinions, slowly eroding old barriers, quietly building new structures."

~ John Fitzgerald Kennedy, 35th President of the United States (1961-63), 1917 - 1963

The sun is shining. Jack takes that to be a sign that he should get outside and once there, he admires the snowmen that have been created and decides he's going to do something himself. He isn't sure what, so he flops onto his back in the snow and makes an angel. He stands carefully, shakes the snow from his coat, and draws a halo above the head with two fingers. Standing back to admire his work, he nods slightly. It'll do, but he wants to create something. He isn't going to compete with the army of snow people, and one can only make so many snow angels...

He could use some tools, but doesn't want to stop to get any. Instead, he picks a likely area of deep snow, away from the residence just enough that it won't interfere with the generation of snow people. He plunges his hands into the snow and starts to dig.

Coma (Sort of OTA-Peter if he around.)

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
*Thankfully, Peter had found her and had been taking care of her. She was still scared, not having any idea what was going on. She felt physically OK, but something was off.

Who: Lucas and OTA (Peyton if she wants to)

When: Wednesday afternoon.

Where: The basketball court.

Lucas dribbled the ball a few times. He was wearing his Ravens uniform, having acquired it from Manny. He hadn't shown Layla yet. He just wanted the familiar feel of the court. Mouth doing the commentary.

"30 seconds left on the clock and the Ravens are down by two, all comes down to the star shooting guard, Lucas Scott to make the shot," he said aloud.

He bent back a little and took the three pointer. "Scott for the win," he said. He watched as the ball soared through the hoop. He missed the excitement of a match.

A Real Date - Locked to Peter and Faith

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Peter had had no idea where to get flowers or chocolates or any of the normal stuff he'd need in that situation. This wasn't exactly what he was used to for a date, But he'd gotten a suit from the boutique and looked so well dressed even Nathan would have been impressed.

Before asking why he never dressed like that for any of his conventions and rallys.

He finally reached her room and with a deep breath knocked on the door.

"Faith....I'm not early am I..."

Night Flight

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Iggy and open to anyone who'd be up that high
Where: The roof
When: Tuesday night, after dinner and well after dark.

It has been said, that if you want to fly you have to throw yourself at the ground, and miss.

This is, as point of fact, easier for some people than for others. Such as the six foot tall boy with the wingspan of over thirteen feet.

Just because he wasn't at home and didn't have Max there to tell him to practice, didn't mean he was just going to slack off. Quite the opposite actually, he knew he needed the practice just to keep himself sharp.

He'd done a few runthroughs of Up & Away, taking off from flat standing, he'd even gone on a low flight through the trees and hadn't banged himself up too badly. Just at the moment he was practicing dives, just letting himself drop from the edge of the roof and not flapping until he had to, wingtips brushing the ground now and again when he almost didn't spread his wings in time.

Emma is still in a coma

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Emma and Peter P. (Closed)
When: a week or so after the explosion, she is still in a coma
Why: Peter is a Nurse, the transference of powers.

*Emma never woke up, not since the explosion. Her body was working on sheer will to try and continue to live. She, sadly, didn't have much time left. She was only a clone of the real Emma, the Emma who also died violently in an explosion at Shalimar's father's company. Adam had figured out how to clone her, after-all, he was a clone himself. She had lived a very short life, mostly Here. Her closest friend had been Ardeth, there might have even been more there, there certainly was more there. She knew it, so did he. He was dead and she was half dead. Fitting, such a brief existence for the telempath. There was one person left who could talk to her, to get through to her...may be he showed up just for that reason. Hell, it was probably just chance. No one would really know though. Except for her in these moments.*

Fitting in - Peter Petrelli - OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Peter didn't know how he was meant to feel. This place was still so new to him and the sense of grief that was still palpable in the air wasn't his grief. He knew about grief of course, about loss but these people had lost friends that he would never know,

For the most part, in that regard he was on the outside looking in.

The newly refurbished bar has become kinda a regular haunt of his, And so he sits telekiniticly moving his glass from one side of the table to the other for the sake of something to do with his time.

OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
River sat in the lobby in a corner. Her legs where pulled close to her stomach. She was rocking back and forth. Her face was an expression of fear and pain. There was too many feeling in this place. Too much anger and hurt. It hurt too much. She couldn't move. She felt what most of the others were feeling.

Wyatt is trying to keep his mind clear and to sort through everything that has happened, but he also wants to know what happened and he doesn't know where to start, so he is wandering around the residence, mostly around the area where the most damage had happened.

Yes best to focus on the explosion and not his own actions, at least not yet.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Who: Faith and her rescuers (Buffy and Peter most likely)
When: Explosion of course.
(NB- Spin off from Layla's thread Here: another copy of Faith's last comment there, moved to here to keep things nicely separate!)

Faith breathed a sigh of relief as Lucas got out of the room ok, rushing off to find Plant Girl and Ghosty Chick.

She began to move herself when there was a groan, the tree (however it had got there) clearly dying. The strain of trying to hold things up was obviously taking it's toll and the entire structure groaned.

"Oh this is not good," she muttered to herself, gingerly stepping towards the door. Suddenly it all collapsed, the tree, the ceiling and the floor. Faith went crashing through, down to the next level, barely having time to think a pained 'oh shit' before hitting her head hard and blacking out.

Holding out for a Hero - Peter Petrelli - OTA

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
The puzzle was starting to annoy him. It had been sitting on the desk in Nathan's study. He'd been in and out of there a lot lately. Planning he supposed. Cause the fight was in no way over. He didn't know if Hiro had actually gotten Adam and there was Sylar.

Apparently dead didn't always mean what he'd assumed it did.

He held the box with one hand and waved his other watching the pieces spin and finally fall into place. Bit of a cheat but....

...

He opened his eyes and looked around to see a ceiling, flames.

And he'd fallen on a bit of wood that had somehow gotten lodged pointing up. He pulled himself up by his arms, hating the sensation of the bones and muscles knitting back together as he moved but inwardly thanking Claire for the ability.

Finally free of it and healed he stood up

Had he teleported without knowing it?. Had he caused this?. He looked down at his hands but he seemed to be okay. And he'd learned to control that power.

But more importantly people were in danger.

He looked around and opened his mind to sense people. Anyone in danger. Hearing a voice in the rubble he managed to pull a few beams away telekineticly freeing a guy. The next. A brunette in her late teens he'd been too late to save.

What the hell had happened here?
