WHO: Ginny Weasley & Victoria Frobisher
WHAT: A Quidditch discussion
WHERE: Gryffindor Common Room
WHEN: Sometime around 8 PM, first day of classes
RATING: TBD
Ginny did not like the Carrows. She especially did not like Amycus Carrow. The moment she walked into Defence Against the Dark Arts, she had a sinking feeling that she and Amycus Carrow would be seeing each other more often than she'd like. His foul sneer, the nasty drawl of his silky, slimy voice, and the way he already started acting like he owned the ruddy place made her skin crawl. It very nearly made her regret taking the N.E.W.T.-level DADA class. Naturally, as a N.E.W.T. student, one ought to expect a few inches of parchment the first day of class. However, Amycus seemed to presume the students were only enrolled in his bloody class and he expected 16 inches on the history of the use of the Cruciatus Curse. Parchment length was always such a pain, as well, especially for people who had tight, small handwriting(namely, herself). Ginny was a good student, certainly, but one who took pride in her skills of procrastination. This, unfortunately, was not something to ignore, seeing as it was due next class--not even with Quidditch trials the next evening. Even Ginny had to admit it was going to be quite a feat for her to wait until the last minute and have it finished in time. So, admitting defeat, she headed off to the library right after dinner to fetch a few books to help her.
Ginny wondered why Hermione spent so many bloody hours in such a dusty, damp, and mouldy place with screeching tomes and books that tried to bite your hand clear off(then immediately felt a sharp heart ache, missing the three of them huddled, muttering in some far corner of the library or Common Room). Pushing the thought from her mind as she made her way to Gryffindor Tower, she focused on Quidditch. It's going to be brilliant, Ginny thought with a grin. She was Captain and she had expectations for this team, and maybe a secret hope that a scout(a Harpies scout) would show up. Muttering a quick "Venemous Tentacula" to the Fat Lady, who swung open for Ginny to gain entrance, she pushed through into the Common Room. Settling into her favourite, comfortable armchair away from the hustle and bustle of the Common Room, Ginny pulled out her materials and, with thoughts of creating a truly fantastic team on her mind, set to work on her parchment.
