"Has to assert himself in class, I expect." Ginny wrinkled her nose in distain. "Bollocks. We'll get through it, yeah? It'll be all right as long as we get a good jump."
"Yeah, I rather like Charms, too. Not my favourite subject, though. We've got the same courses except switch out Care of Magical Creatures for Ancient Runes." Ginny gauged Vicky's expression and wondered vaguely if she would be surprised by her taking Ancient Runes--though she had often asked Hermione for help, it was more often a meeting of the minds than her truly being tutored. She was rather bright in her own right, though she never really let on by being too much of a know-it-all.
"'Course, just like he was completely unbiased in Potions." Ginny grumbled her agreement. "At least Slughorn is honest about who he likes and he does give everyone a fair shot."
"It was all right, I'm glad to be back, though. I've missed Quidditch and intend to make up for lost time." She grinned. "It's going to be a hell of a season."
"Sure, sounds fab. I'll get my things." Ginny arched her eyebrow at Vicky as she muttered to her, curious. Interesting, eh?, Ginny thought. Heat rose to her cheeks as she remembered the most interesting part of her own summer, with Harry's firm body pressed against her... her thoughts trailed off listlessly as she stuffed her parchment, quill, ink and books into her bag and shouldered it with ease. Following Vicky, she trailed behind her on the way up to their shared dorms.
