"We can work on it together? I'm rubbish at working alone and I might be convinced to let you share the books I took out from the library." Ginny smiled and chuckled at Vicky, who seemed genuinely distressed by the parchment. "And don't bloody forget it's sixteen inches. Sixteen! Anyway..." She sighed, shaking her head. Just thinking about that class made her blood boil. "What other N.E.W.T. classes are you taking? Charms, I imagine."
"Oh, don't you tempt me! The pitch sounds brilliant about now... bit too dark, though, I expect. Too close to the Forbidden Forest for comfort." Ginny sighed, turning her eyes away from Vicky to look out the window longingly.
"I just hope McGonagall and Snape have a bet for the first Slytherin-Gryffindor game... it would be brilliant to see him decked out in Gryffindor maroon and gold, get that smug little look off that git's face." She grinned deviously, tenting her fingers together in a conspiring fashion.
Ginny nodded at her, suddenly looking a bit serious. She leaned over closer and lowered her voice to the point where only Vicky could hear her. She glanced around quickly before starting to speak. "I'm planning on bringing it back. If McGonagall couldn't do anything for you, then this is more dire than we imagined, yeah? Professors hands are tied. If that's the case, then it seems we've got to help ourselves and stick together. We're planning on a meeting in the classroom on the third floor corridor, near the humpbacked witch statue. Next Thursday, 9 o'clock. Password's mimbletonia." Once she was finished, Ginny leaned away and gave Vicky a quick smile.
"That's what I like to hear! Can't be on the team if you're not confident, yeah?" Ginny chuckled.
Ginny pulled a face at that question, looking a bit disgusted. "Well, it was a bit of all right. Ron came down with a case of Spattergroit. Ugh, disgusting stuff. Aside from that, it was a break from classes. Played a lot of Quidditch with my brothers. My mum didn't quite know if she should send me off or not, had a bit of a time convincing her I'd be fine." She sighed and rolled her eyes. "We were all really ruffled with what the Ministry has been doing..." Raising her eyebrow significantly at Vicky, she glanced about the Common Room, careful to watch what exactly she was saying.
