Vicky groaned. "I know. What a prat. That whole lot of them, actually. They can all go and sod themselves with a fish fork!" She giggled at her own crude insults directed at the Death Eaters. "Yeah. That really is a good idea. I don't want to spend one second longer with any of them than absolutely necessary."
Ginny's question got an enthusiastic nod. "Really!" She hadn't really thought of Ginny as a star student; she was too much fun. Though, she had always struck Vicky like a smart cookie. "Well, I guess I can see that. I don't know if I could get over the hump to get into it, you know?" She saw the pride Ginny had in her older brother when she spoke of him. It was cute! "How if your brother? Is he still a Curse-Breaker?"
Vicky nodded. "Well, I hope you get to go. It'd be a fun time, I suspect."
"No worries," she replied readily as she got settled on the bed next to Ginny. "I think there would be a lot of people pretty jealous of that," she joked in a flirtatious way, though she played it off with a joking smile.
"Well...romances, actually," she said. Shaking her head, Vicky added, "They are both Muggles from home. Though, I guess I shouldn't say anything like that now that things are like they are," she sighed, indulging in a moment of pity. Though, she decided it would be more fun to talk about her summer than that shite!
"Yeah, I met this bloke at a party. Tim. Nice guy. He plays drums in a band with his friends. He was going to Oxford but he dropped out." She smiled proudly, sure that Ginny could figure out he was older. "He is cool. Cute. Blonde hair, short and spiky. My mum hated how he dressed. It was great!" she laughed.
"I was dancing with a friend of mine when he came up behind me to dance. It was at a small flat so it was...close." She grinned with a impish twinkle in her eye. "We danced for a while...didn't really talk much....then he just pulled me over in the corner and kissed me!"
