What; Ororo knows that Scooter's off his rocker and goes to do that thing that Ororo does and reaffirm my belief that everyone is Ororo's bitch. Especially Scott, who folds like tissue paper and lets Ororo relieve him of his headmaster-type duties until he's fit enough not to drive himself off a cliff.

Where: The medlab
What: Logan drops Scott off in the medlab after the debacle at the ravine, and Hank finds out that Scott hasn't been obeying his medical advice. And is Not Happy. Angry!Beast? Yes.

Where: The garage, then the open road
What: Scott's under a lot of stress, and the lack of sleep is starting to make him a little crazy. He's on the verge of a nervous breakdown and ends up taking Logan on an almost-deadly drive.

Your characters are more than allowed to jump between threads, so don't think you need to pick an event and stick to it! In fact, your character can be in two or more sub-threads simultaneously, under the assumption that they take place at different points in the day. This should keep us from getting bogged down with doing everything completely chronologically, and if your sub-thread dies for one reason or another, you can always leap into or start a new sub-sub-thread. What; Scott wakes up Hank because he's snoring like a jackhammer, which leads to talk of the sleep Scott isn't getting. And then Hank goes totally Doctor McCoy on him and it gets really funny.

Where: Out at the lake, Xavier's School
What: The weather's starting to get warmer, so Logan takes advantage of his alone-on-the-grounds time in order to take a dip in the lake. Naked. Anyone want a piece? Turns out Ororo wants a piece.

Where; The hospital in Washington, DC
What; The first real moment we've seen after Scott's return and Magneto's defeat, in which they don't really talk about their problems. But that's okay.

( None of us are immune to wanting to keep the people we once loved safe, even after we've lost them. )

Who: The X-Men, the Brotherhood, and NPCs for all sides
When: Early morning Saturday, March 15 and moving into March 16, 2008 -- this battle will last at least two actual days, maybe longer, which will account for any "frozen" time if the thread stalls the rest of the game----this is a battle of such importance that it would make no sense if it only lasted one day.
Where: Washington, D.C.
What: The battle for governmental power in America begins! For the detailed battle plan, please see the OOC post about it. Characters not on the list who choose to show up can show up... whatever :) but the plan is there to keep people's heads from exploding.

What: Sally’s being all sneaky in an effort to bump into Scott because he’s dreamy. Only to find him about ready to leave for his FOH mission of D00M. Then he pulls the wool over her eyes to shut up her demanding to know where he’s going.

What; Alex and Terry seem to be getting serious, so they go out to dinner with Scott to talk about it.


( It was so stupidly, painfully normal. Alex and Terry were going to eat dinner with him because they were serious about each other. It was ... God, it was like a breath of fresh air. )

What; Scott orders a practice for the two members of his squad that will actually show up, but Peter's not actually supposed to be there. Because Hank says so. And somewhere in here, Logan should get stabbed. You'll see.



Today, Scott was just watching. He was doing it to everyone, actually, pitting them against each other and seeing how they reacted. It was good for the team to know each other's strengths and weaknesses, and just watching them instead of worrying about himself, Scott picked up a few nuances in their behavior that he wouldn't have otherwise noticed. So he was sitting in a chair with his notepad while Peter and Logan duked it out -- they should have had Bobby there, but they couldn't find him. Practice was early today; Scott had every intention of heading out with Logan afterward to go looking again.

If nothing else, Spider-Man seemed to be having a grand old time with Wolverine, even if the lack of real height was slowing him down. Wolverine worked best on land; Spider-Man didn't, and there weren't as many trees as he would have liked, which meant he was kind of on the losing end. Still talking like he was winning, but Peter was running more than he was attacking.

Spider-Man dodged a blow, slinking around faster than Wolverine could twist around. "Missed me!"

Who; Scott Summers and Betsy Braddock
When; January 10th, afternoon (which may or may not be contrary to Betsy's email forever ago, but it's important for this to be kind of ... around the time it gets posted XD)
Where; Near Simone's
What; Betsy says she needs help and can give the X-Men information, so Scott goes and ... gets screwed over. Oops. Actually, Betsy takes the beating, but then she replaces all of his memories of Emma with ... herself. Ew. Scott doesn't take well to it, and blasts her again. But not before she digs out all of the X-Men's plans. Ohsnap.
Warnings; Betsy's use of the vagina-word at Scott and Scott's visual/mental eff you. You'll see.

What: Hank went on errands and it turns out he should have slept in today. Jean-Paul has asked to come along, but because I had much of this written already and didn't want to slow it down with a thread (since JP would definitely stop the FOH if he was around), I've made the assumption that they split up about half an hour ago to go separate ways while Hank did a little Christmas shopping for him.
