Artist's Notes/Thank you's: I really wanted to illustrate my idea of romance with this entry. So when I found this quote, I knew I had to use it:

Artist's Notes/Thank you's: Thank you to my wonderful team of awesome, without whom this would be a hot mess :). The colouring in this was rather inspired by a series of still life paintings by Chris Peters - the wine glass and cherries are in fact a nod to those, borrowed from his painting "Memories of Sin" :). The pomegranate, complicated, symbology-laden, sparkly-pretty-tasty fruit that it is, is all mine :). At the risk of stating the obvious, the title is from Galadriel's wee moment where she nearly gave in to the corrupting desire to "do good" with ultimate power, and the full quote is, of course, "All shall love me and despair".

Hello, friends of Snarry!

Every year, we start the Games off with a little 'getting to know you' exercise, where we interview our Team Champions (and Alternates), and post the interviews for you to read and comment on.

We begin posting them now, and will continue to do so daily until the Games begin. Please feel free to check out our Team Champions, and what they have to say regarding the Harry Potter characters they like drawing the least, who inspires them, and whether or not Snape or Harry could kick their Team Mascot's ass.

Today we again recognize the hard-won achievement and dedication of authors and their teams who strive for excellence in Snarry.

As always, it is the fans that are really the winners here. Our Champions all worked hard to entertain us, to allow us a glimpse into different worlds and characters that we hold near and dear. We thank them ALL for this gift they share.

However, in the competition we set out to do, the Judges (you, the readers) have voted to score these creative authors and their teams, both of which have alternatively stunned and excited us, allowing one to edge out the other for Gold by again, the smallest of margins. So without further ado:
