A/N: The perfect challenge for me as this is my first post here and my first 100 word drabble. It was harder than I thought. Hope it’s up to par!

"You kill me, Severus." His laughter had faded to chuckles.

"I love you too much for that." My words, though never spoken before, had finally fought their way out, wanting to be spoken to him.

The mirth fell from Harry's face, slowly melting off. He stared.

"Do you not want to hear me speak of it?"

He frowned lightly, his eyes growing red-rimmed and watery, his face a shade paler. But he didn't cry, as he rarely has...

"Has no one said that to you before?” I think I just…knew. As a vow, I whispered, “Get used to it.”
