I bookmarked this from The Beat ages ago. Since I'm sharing it on another comm, no reason not to spread the love as much as possible. ;)
This is really close to being a classic beast fable, which I typically enjoy, and I really love the design of the titular characters. The tale itself is a nice balance of horror and humor. Kinda Gaiman-esque. Worth giving the link a click if you like that sort of thing. Story and art by Andrew Drilon.

Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool and Green Lantern
This isn't the most recent of news, but Ryan Reynolds has been confirmed as Hal for the upcoming GL movie. Now, while I was exploring internet rabbit trails from the Pat Lee post, which lead me to Matt Moylan's comment about the guy, which led me back to Lil'Formers, which I haven't read in a while. I decided to get caught up, and I found this image he came up with. Enjoy!

That's not how it went.
Girl Genius' eighth book, Agatha Heterodyne and the Chapel of Bones, won a Hugo Award in the brand shiny new category of "Best Graphic Story". Huzzah! So, to celebrate, 18 of my favorite pages out of the approx. 126 pages of main story that'll be in that volume.
Since it is the eighth book, there are spoilers of course, and apologies to the dialuppers.

Preview of "Fusion" (My original comic)
Over on the old Scans Daily site, I posted a NSFW erotic parody of JLU known as the "Great Scott Saga." (It was composed of 4 parts: "Great Scott," "Fool Me Once . . ." "Birds of a Feather," and "Hell or High Water.")
Well, I've started my first original comic titled "Fusion" (which is SFW, by the way), and thought I'd post the initial preview here. The following is my own work, so there should be no problems with the page-limit restrictions. Hope you folks enjoy the preview. (And I know Harold's freckles disappear. I'll correct that when I finish the issue.)
