[Assassin is standing rather quiet and still within the confines of the Sector 4 park, one hand loosely holding the handle of a blade much too long for any sensible swordsman. He's in no particular stance and it looks more like he's relaxing himself than anything else. It doesn't seem as if he's moving even an inch of his body, his eyes slowly shutting completely, before a butterfly flutters in front of him. His hand twitches and there's the most infinitesimal flicker of steel before the butterfly falls, its wings completely segmented into four pieces. Opening his eyes, he peers down at it with a twitch at his cheeks.]

...I'd prefer something much more mobile.

Soooo there's a place a guy can train around here, right?

What about sparring a bit? Is that allowed?

Okay, um... I've got this on, right? Yeah. Okay.

So, um... like... is anyone out there? I um... I'm looking for Professor Charles Xavier. Um... like... if anyone knows him, I'd be totally appreciative for like ever, okay? So, um... if you know where he is, can you let me know?

Uh... Thanks! [nervous laugh]

Of all the foolish tomfoolery-- [The voice cuts off as the person speaking realizes the little device is transmitting.]

I demand to speak to whoever is responsible for this. "Acumen", was it? [hmph] I don't have the time to waste on this foolishly unfunny joke.

Hm.....Excuse me! [Lizzy is sitting on her bed in her temporary room until the mansion is built. Where has she been? Who knows?]

I'm just curious and since it seems that people really come from everywhere, I want to try new things.

So! What is the fashion from your home? Like what you like to wear, favorite colors and styles, and all of that!

[This is a very serious question.]

[Should this be filtered? Probably, but naturally, this girl doesn't much care. So all of you get a nice shot of Haruhi standing among a dozen or so cans of paint at her feet in the middle of sector four. There is a distinctive red armband around her bicep with 'Chief' written in large black lettering.]

Oi, Kyon! Mikuru! We have club business today! You have ten minutes to get here or I'll enact the death penalty!

[The video shuts off for several seconds. You might think that is all there is to the message, but it turns back on several moments later. The expression on her face is much calmer than it was before, almost sugary sweet. BEWARE.]

Are there any...artistically inclined people around here? I don't mean musical instruments, but more of the drawing and painting sort.

[ A gasp escaped her as the world seemed to swim before her eyes. A moment ago Aerith had been praying. Her knees had ached against the cool stone of the alter, her eyes on the face of one of her companions, Cloud, as a smile came to her lips. She had known what was going to happen and now..darkness. Was it over? Had it all happened so quick that she never felt it?]

Hello?

[ She was terrified to find that no voices responded. The hum of the planet was deadly silent. And then..]

["Greetings Inmate!" The sound of the robotic voice caused a cry of panic. As the words began to scroll in front of her eyes, she took a moment to take a few deep breaths.]

A prison, are you serious?!

[ But, how?! They had been in the depths of the Forgotten city, the planet song had whispered all around her. If she was here..did that mean she had failed?

Moving to a sitting position, slender fingers brushed the light bedding fabric beneath her. This was no time to panic. First thing she had to do was figure out exactly where she was and explore, right?
]

[ After a few moments of examining the room she was in, along with the headpiece she was wearing, a small click noise announced Aerith figuring out how to turn on her video screen.]

Ah! Hello? Helllloo? [ Would anyone answer? Surely someone had to hear her if this was a prison full of people just like her, right?]

Is anyone awake? My name is Aerith! I've just arrived and I'm a little..confused. Could anyone tell me where I am..? [ It was way too quiet. Her stomach felt like a thousand butterflies lived inside. All of the voices of her ancestors, her world..they had vanished.]

I'm looking for some people I was traveling with. Does anyone happen to know a man named Cloud?
[The 55th Day]
22 March 2010 at 08:55 pm
Good morning, inmates. It is the 55th day of the third generation.

Continuing with my alterations to Sentience's ineffective methods, I have decided a period of recovery to be necessary after observing the reactions to and of recent arrivals. With the intent of minimizing the shock of being thrust into a foreign environment, and so that settled inmates do not feel so overwhelmed by increasing arrivals, I will be incarcerating criminals in a timely, routine fashion that will not be so disruptive, upon completing the last of the trials Sentience had already prepared.

Lady von Khrennikov, the dispersal of stimulants into the air yesterday was an improper use of medicine and will not be tolerated in the future. At request of the Defense Force, the dispensers have been safely disposed of by the remote units and the chemical is no longer present in the dome's atmosphere, so there is no longer any need to be concerned, inmates.

[Rei knows she has time to puzzle out the issue Tieria has presented her with - what is the point of her existence when the purpose for which she was created is gone? - but she feels impatient, and it's keeping her awake. It's a personal issue, but when she asked about Adam the day before, she got some useful answers. It seems that talking with people can actually be helpful. So she speaks, quietly enough not to wake those who might sleep with their communicators on:]

Why continue to live when you have lost your purpose?

[Since he managed to sleep through most of the day, he had no need to sleep, even that late. A smile kept on his face, he could be heard asking one question on his communicator, his tone rife with amusement.]

I can see why a murderer should gain a weight to bear for his sins, but this is simply an inconvenience.

[There's a long pause and he contains a chuckle in a rather half-assed attempt.]

Though, I wonder... What kinds of sinners are my fellow inmates? Are they ruthless murderers below their fragile exteriors? Have they stolen? Conspired? What have they done--what will they do, that put them in the same place as myself? Do they think they're good and honorable for what they've done? Are they proud about it? Do they not believe their actions to be crimes?

...I suppose it's enough to wonder, for now. I hope I have enough time to find out even a little of it, at least

[He feels out of sync. Aidou's trying to hide it, but things have just been...different since he returned to Marina. The horrible headaches and the dizziness from the transfer and the memories returning are gone, but he still feels out of place.

He had been gone a year. He had been gone two days. It looks as if nothing has changed and yet he returns to find they have a new computer in charge and so many new people.

It is as if he had lived another life for over a month and then everything went back to normal. Now that he's in marina once more, he's not sure how he should feel...how he's supposed to connect with everyone here again.

So Aidou sits at the edge of the park on a bench watching as Akatsuki stretches out in the grass. At least his kitten doesn't seem to have an trouble adapting to the changes. He looks up and notices for the first time that the dome doesn't look as he remembers it.]

[A nervous laugh came over the network as Sari thought best how to word what she wanted to say.] Since there was already a "what's your happiest memory?" question, how about your saddest?

Mine would have to be when my dad was kidnapped by the Decepticons, robots like me and my friends only evil, and I was kicked out of my home because I couldn't prove I even existed.

[Someone probably very familiar was wandering around the park with a ball and chain and a bot. Lyle grumbled to himself as he walked. He didn't particularly take kindly to being captured and having to be escorted by this... thing, but it wasn't like he could go anywhere on his own. He'd kick it if it wouldn't attack him. He was ignoring the oddly sweet smell that was drifting around the park.

Lyle wasn't really paying too much attention to what was going on around him. He was a bit too annoyed about the situation. And that "welcome" message wasn't much help either. Grand theft auto... wasn't his fault that he had found his brother's car basically abandoned. Identity theft... Ha! That one was laughable. He wasn't stealing Neil's identity.

[One could say that the man in the brightly colored kimono kneeling in the corner of the training hall was dead. He hadn't moved since he sat down in position once his exercise regiment had begun, his expression showing absolutely no change. It was a deep meditation one might have expected from someone well trained in martial arts.

Though, in reality, the samurai was asleep. Dead asleep. That somber expression? A samurai, trained in the fine art of living in a nihilistic wonderland run by himself, rested in the corner of the training hall without a care in the world. Somehow, the binding of the ball and chain around one ankle in no way hindered that pleasant slumber.

(OOC: Forgot to mention; in 30 minutes I'm running out to do an errand, so at that point I've got to stop doing tags for awhile. Once I return, though, I'll be back at it. |D)

[The video camera comes online as Sari looks around at the room she's been assigned after being deposited in the asylum, her bright blue eyes full of anger and hurt at being plucked away from her friends and disrobed of weapons that had been essentially a part of her. She would have even ranted away if that could have helped her before she saw the basket that the Welcoming Committee left her.]

So I'm supposed to stay here for a long while, huh? At least someone was kind enough to leave a welcoming gift.

[A sigh came as she tried to move around with the ball and chain attached to her leg, finding it most uncomfortable, even in human form, before successfully sitting on the bed.]

Okay, granted, this place? Under an ocean? I'm okay with that. I've been under a lake before in an Autobot ship that was really an actual Autobot, but what gives? This long list of crimes I've committed, okay I'll admit to some, but the rest? Yeesh, you'd think that they'd be more understanding to a technorganic girl who is just starting to learn her powers and how to control her weapons system.

[Another sigh]

I want to go home...
