 OOC | RPG | OWLS Years after the muggle television has been studied and modified with magic, there's a telly in the home of every witch and wizard. Programming like goblin talk shows and music videos are being forgotten in the wake of the popularity of reality TV shows. Get Real is one such show. Conceived by Maximus Trimble and Rhonda Roads, it was meant to be all about the life of the "real" Hogwarts student and the dramatic tears, laughs, and loves that blossom between them. Sort of. The first season of the show was a national hit. Maximus Trimble and Rhonda Roads were rich beyond their wildest dreams and the students of Hogwarts became celebrities overnight. Premiere parties, interviews, fan letters, and free merchandise became routine for those who wanted to take advantage of the opportunities. For those that didn't, there was no escape. Anyone and anything that goes on the castle is fair game to be featured on the show. Don't like it? Get home schooled or transfer to Beauxbatons. Will you take advantage of the chance to get easy money for doing nothing but turn up for class? Will you stand up and refuse to be exploited just so Headmaster Slughorn can make himself look good? Or will you keep your head low and hope that you're not next? |
