Nearly five years after the Second War, Wizarding Britain is experiencing a time
of prosperity. After years with a sluggish economy, constant construction, and small
uprisings of Voldemort's few remaining supporters, the country has slowly
regained its footing. As Minister Of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt has revolutionized
the government while promoting equality for all witches and wizards, regardless of blood
status. Technology has boomed, with inventors adapting televisions and mobile phones into their
magical counterparts and the crown jewel of Shacklebolt's term, Merlin's Road, is set to open in the coming weeks.

So what could go wrong? It's 2003. Life is good.
