THREE YEARS AFTER the joint murders of two of Hogwarts' brightest students, two are presumed dead, one is very much alive. While the arrest of suspect Damien Andrada put some minds to rest, the respite was only temporary as Andrada has recently been released under mysterious circumstances and is now living amongst the general populace.



RIOTS AND DISCORD has clouded many key social groups with concern over the current Minister of Magic and her cabinet. Accusations have flown from both ends of the spectrum for the recent attacks on Hogwarts, and no one can decide if Hogwarts is the safest place on Earth, or a ticking time bomb.



A NEW MINISTRY takes the stage as the Wizengamot elects a new Minister of Magic as well as several unknown names for his cabinet. Policy changes are on the horizon for both the Wizarding World and Hogwarts alike, with some students electing to stay abroad at Salem Institute or Beauxbatons Academy.



BACK AT THE RANCH, students and adults alike are preparing for summer. For some, this means traveling abroad or visiting their parents -- for others, the summer campus has opened. There are reminders of instability everywhere, though, from Aurors patrolling the summer campus to random Veritaserum screenings.

Hogwarts School is one of the oldest Harry Potter RPGs still alive today. Started in 2000, we offer inter-house Quidditch matches, dueling tournaments, and writing-based classes as well as full-scale magical skill system. Our administrative team is active, and there is a formal ball held every term or other large-scale event.



We also foster two smaller sister-schools to Hogwarts, Salem Institute and Beauxbatons Academy, for players who already have a character at Hogwarts School.



During the summer, the castle closes and the players move to the Summer Campus, a small summer camp on the other side of the lake. We offer chatrooms (not to be confused with chatboxes) on all of our boards, and we encourage OOC participation in plots! Currently, our active member base around 80 players, and we're always looking for more. Check us out!
