1977 is a dark time for the Wizarding World. A powerful Dark wizard known only as Lord Voldemort has been making a steady climb towards power, and with him, he brings his ideals: pureblood supremacy and extermination or suppression of muggles and muggleborns. To his followers, he promises power and glory beyond imagination; to his enemies, he promises death.

The students inside Hogwarts castle have been, up to now, relatively sheltered from the events outside its walls. However, when they board the train to school, three of their number are missing. Three muggleborn students and their families have been killed by Lord Voldemort and his followers the night before they were to leave for school, and this triple massacre makes the conflict entirely too personal for many students. As with any war, lines are drawn. Families and close friends stand on either side, wrenched apart by their beliefs. Many students lie awake at night trying to decide where their loyalties lie, and just how to shift from the grey neutrality of school to the black and white of its outside world.

The Beginning of the End was 1998.The war that had plagued the wizarding world and endangered the lives of muggles and mudbloods for over a decade had seemingly ended. The Dark Wizard Voldemort fell at the hand of his arch nemesis; Harry Potter and all was right with the world.

Or was it?

Unbeknownst to anyone among the death eaters fleeing from Ministry officials, was Lord Voldemort. Cloaked and beaten but not defeated instead it was none other than Lucius Malfoy, lying on the ground carrying his lord’s face. Once a rogue death eater he was captured and forced to drink a polyjuice potion to become his master.

Now it is 2030. The war, like all wars, became a thing of the past. The wizarding world lived in peace. A new generation breathes the air as the heroes of the war grew to have children of their own. But not all is well, mysterious illnesses broke out. At first it was believed to be a plague, striking down the younger generation and causing them to be so ill that none of the potions could bring ease to their symptoms. But there was hope that they'd find a cure until death began to shape the future. Unfortunately, that wasn't the weirdest part of all, after the deaths, the family of the child suddenly didn't remember them, their bodies disappeared and one by one, extended family and friends began to forget their existence as well.

With the plague becoming out of control the Ministry tried to quarantine to, if nothing else, seal the sickness within the known infected towns. But little did they know that their lives were to change forever by this one ‘magical’ illness. It seemed the war that they were long since done with, wasn't done with them. In the middle of the night, a loud crack sounded in one of the Ministry’s new facilities that held the remaining survivors. Some were the only ‘healthy’ ones left of their homes and villages. A light appeared and in walked a figure dressed in black. A long trench coat draped its figure, silver from buckles and more horrifying enough, sharp blades on its person gleamed in the light. A man without a face but clearly not without a purpose approached the dumbfounded children who could hear the crack as the adults lay sleeping and unaffected.

"Time has been ripped." The masked male said. "He has returned. We need boys to stand next to fathers, girls to stand next to mothers. Or else you will come to stand no longer." His hands were held out for those willing to take the offer to join the Knight Hood. "Everyone in this room will not exist come tomorrow, I'm your only hope... and you're my only hope."

Will the new generation bravely stand as their parents once had? Can they stand beside their parents to save not only the world but their own lives? Will they make it in the dark world of vigilantes and an even more powerful Voldemort? Will they take the trip to the past in order to save their future?
