PACK YOUR
MOTHERFUCKING BAGS

The plot is centered around the hunt for Horcruxes, which have been scattered across the globe. It also will explore possibilities for what might have happened should things have gone differently in canon after the Marauders' graduation (for example, should Snape/Peter decide not to go to the other side).

Over the course of the game, Regulus will have presented the Order of the Phoenix with what he knows about the Horcruxes: the location of the first and that there are four more somewhere in the world. This sets off a chain of events leading to Voldemort and Dumbledore's deaths when Dumbledore sacrifices himself to buy Order time to find the Horcruxes and a mad scramble between the Order, Death Eaters, and Ministry to reach the Horcruxes first with journalists trailing behind before Voldemort can return.

ROADMAPS starts December 11.
We expect to see you there.

It is August 1998. In the world of Harry Potter that you know, things should be shifting toward normal. They wouldn't be perfect yet, but then again when is anything perfect. Admittedly, things would be a good sight better than the way things are here. All but two Horcrux has been discovered. The locket, the diadem, the cup, the ring, and the diary. We all know about Harry but what of the 7th? Instead of creating the horcrux in Nagini, Voldemort decided to wait until he was returned to his body to create it. He felt it would make it more powerful if he was in his correct form. So after killing Cedric in the graveyard, he gave his most loyal and cowardly follower, Peter Pettigrew, a gift in the form of a new hand. Little did his follower know, the hand was a piece of Voldemort himself.
This small change shouldn't do much to history, right? If only that were the case. Peter was never in the Malfoy Manor the night that the Trio was there. He couldn't repay his life debt and was not killed that night. No, he was kept safe with Severus Snape at Hogwarts, who was the only other person amongst the Death Eaters who knew the secret of Peter's hand. Severus agonized for months on how to reveal to Harry and his friends this knowledge. No safe way presented itself given his position in the school and his inability to leave Peter behind to do anything constructive left him in a tight spot. There was no way to safely do t his without risking his own life.
The Battle of Hogwarts never took place. The trio did not know the form or the location of the last Horcrux that they were aware of so they did not return to the school. Without the battle, Voldemort's rule was never upset. The Carrows remain in their positions and life has continued to grow worse for those who do not submit to Voldemort's reign of terror. Severus knows what he must do, but will the rest of you be up for the task?

Their families survived two wars. They've grown up in a life a relative comfort and ease, a life that didn't have Dark Wizards looming around every corner, didn't have to worry about fighting for their lives before even leaving Hogwarts. Wars were the stuff of History of Magic class, and Voldemort was the name of some mythical monster.

But the more things change, the more things stay the same.

The old blood purists still exist, if only in a vocal minority. New prejudices are rushing in to fill that vacuum (should anyone really trust a pureblood? Or a Slytherin?), and the Ministry of Magic is still rebuilding and recouping it's loses. Bigger and shinier buildings, new hires, fancy recruiting posters, none of that matters when everyone is tired of fighting. There's not enough Aurors to go around, after all, and the unsavory elements of society are well aware of that.

It's not about survival anymore. They've already survived. It's about forgetting, about moving on, about not learning the lessons of decades past.

It's about a generation on the brink, stuck between the horror of the past and the glory of a promised future.

They're the chosen ones, and the future is what they make it. For better or worse.

This is a post-Hogwarts, next generation Harry Potter game set in 2030. The focus is on the children of characters from the books and their lives after school, when the only thing they have to worry about is making living, and not about surviving a war. For the moment, anyway!

When the Next Generation of Hogwarts Students began school, they began it at a new location. After the war with Voldemort the Wizarding world was in ashes. Voldemort is dead, although not by Harry Potter's doing. Diagon Alley - Gone. Hogwarts and the other schools - in ruin. The Ministry and Azkaban were the only places standing, and that was just barely. The students are faced with the hardest way of life they've ever known. The war was easy compared to this, for some Families.

They're forced to get along side by side with Muggles and hide their true natures and way of life. For some this is not a big deal. For others it's harder than a snowball's chance in hell. And now there are rumors someone's starting where Voldemort left off but no one knows where the rumors came from or who this person is. It's just one more worry among the hundreds of new things.

There are eight dorm buildings, four for females on one side of the campus, and four for males on the opposite side. They have been renamed to fit the Hogwart's system - and new students assigned a house. Muggle students are sorted by a pre-entrance exam while the Wizarding students are locked away in a meeting at the Ministry, where the sorting hat does it's work. That means Muggles are housed with Wizards, and Wizards with Muggles. The Wizards are forced to take Muggle classes while working on their Magical studies - one building having been sequestered for the Wizarding population for use during the last two periods of the day.

How do you get along day to day with a Muggle?

How do you, as a Muggle, take to these strange, secretive students?

And now Students have gone missing, both Muggle and Wizarding students, and no one knows where they've gone. But some of the adults have a sinking feeling they've seen something like this before. But they can't confirm their suspicions - and students are still going missing. Not only do the students have to deal with the daily struggles of life, hiding their magical natures from the muggles, but now this constant worry. Who's Next? What's going on?

Leave all your love and your loving behind you.

Secrets never really stay buried. It's a cliché for a reason: sooner or later, everything that's kept bound up is pulled out of hiding. Benjamin Franklin once said that three people could keep a secret if two were dead, and maybe that’s the truth. Maybe the only kind of secret that never gets exposed is the one you never share in the first place.

But that’s not human nature, really. Sooner or later, we feel the need to unburden our souls, to confess, to make things right - or to finally get our revenge after all. Some like to gather up others’ secrets, use them for personal profit; others just like to know they’re trusted. They never mean to betray things. They never mean to hurt.

But sometimes, you just can’t help yourself.

The Last 333 Days of the first war...

The Marauders finished their education in frightening times, but it was nothing compared the last year of the first war. The Dark Lord Voldemort had been biding his time, collecting followers and making small plays for power. The Daily Prophet had glossed over the impending threat while initiated Death Eaters hid their mark like members of a secret cult. The murders committed were attributed to blanket fanaticism. Regulus Black's death went unnoticed by the masses. Dumbledore's followers seemed to be the only ones to see the coming of darker times.

Then Sybil Trelawney made the prophecy and a real threat was posed to Tom Riddle's rise to power. Lily and James Potter gave birth to a son on the last day of the seventh month and Voldemort saw the divination coming true. For the first time since his slow rise to power, Voldemort showed his strength. On August 3rd, 1980, Voldemort's followers slaughtered sixteen civilians on the streets of Hogsmeade. Among the losses were two Death Eaters, Wilkes and Rosier. Despite their deaths, Voldemort's ranks remained strong.

Now the final year of the war is here. The Last 333 Days of the war will be the most terrifying days anyone has ever lived through.
