Perfidiose - illoyal;insidiose;malitiose You wake up slowly, the first thing you notice is a low pounding headache and a few cuts and bruises along your body. Once you've determined that no, you're not in any danger of dying from these, you look around the room. The light from the windows is soft and orange - sunrise. The torches on the walls flare in to life and you start to notice the other people in the room with you. Some are still sleeping or unconscious, but a few are sitting up like you and peeking about. Perfidiose is a game that takes place straight after Dumbledore's death at the end of Harry's sixth year. The characters have all lost their memory and part of the game will be to get it back. While they are trapped at Hogwarts, several parts of the castle as sustained damage and cannot be accessed or will need a lot of coorperation to clear of debris if the characters wish to search through them. |

Condemn the place they dwell in, scorch them out of their hiding places. This is the dawn of a new era. A new threat. A time when all of man will be brought down to its knees and forced to resort to their natural and primitive way of life. This is no longer a war about magic and muggle, this is pest control and elimination of all the vermin that inherit this earth. Where is your Golden boy now? Are you ready? HPA is a dark themed game about the return of Lord Voldemort and the influence that the art industry has on society during war. The supposed dead have begun to return and the Ministry is scrambling to make sense of it, unaware that the veil is unsafe and other forms of ancient magic are at work. There will plenty for both sides of the war to involve themselves in and we aim for character development and personal interaction. We expect our members to be able to carry on their own storylines while intertwining themselves with the main plot. Interaction is fast and we're always busy. We also try to involve everyone and help people get into the story. We accept already developed story lines and people coming in groups or pairs, as well as individuals looking for something new. We accept original characters, if well developed and fitting with the Harry Potter universe. We are Deathly Hallows canon, with game canon developing as we go (making it technically AU). HPA is about fun, no harsh or nazi modding. A little bit of crack is always allowed, though we aim for thoroughness. With Voldemort dead and his Death Eaters scattered to the winds, Kingsley Shaklebolt had stepped out of the ashes as a leader to bring the Wizarding world back to the proud position it had once held. No one had expected what he was about to do. For three years Kingsley led the way in the reconstruction of wizarding society, but his mind was not as sound as he would have the world believe. For him there were two main issues that prevent the community from fully healing: low population and the dislike between those of pure and mixed blood. Kingsley fully believed that by correcting these issues he would be creating the perfect society. It was this desire of perfection that led to the introduction of the Kinglsey's marriage and family planning legislation. As of January 1st, 2002 the Decree of Marriage and Family Planning took effect. All unmarried citizens of legal age are now required to register their marital status with the Ministry as of their seventeenth birthday. Those who do not apply by the new laws are considered social terrorists. The cells of Azkaban now have new attendents. Those who do register in accordance with the decree can expect an official letter stating the time and place of their wedding, as well as the Ministry approved match. With the legislation all marriages are now a matter of Ministry approval. |
