TOM RIDDLE THE REVOLUTIONARY

There was once a time where Lord Voldemort was once feared throughout the Wizarding World for his deeds. He even went so far is to find a secret in the Gaunt Shack to see himself brought back later in life.

The Mirror of Erised and the Veil. They created way out of the afterlife, so he used it. This was his last plan before death.

Now, finding the world amiss and many of his companions risen, he hopes to put back the world. It's high technical, strange, wizardless, muggle ways had to stop and every had to agree. Well, those who were loyal to the Wizarding World for what it used to be, not the abomination it is now.

He was glad that someone in the Malfoy line had finally showed some sort of bravery. He couldn't believe the shape of the world and how against magical folk they were.

He was determined to stop it.

GAME SUMMARY


This game is in the year 3000, muggles and those of lesser blood have taken over the Wizarding World. Voldemort ensured a way back and now he's the leading man behind putting things back where they belong. You can play anyone and everyone, even the muggle characters in the HP series can have magic! Five years after the fall of Voldemort. Lives are rebuilt, families reforged, loves rekindled. Wizardfolk are finally learning to live in a world without fear. But not everyone is pleased with the new sunshine-and-smiles lifestyle of the post-war Wizarding world.

Despite a successful career and a promising future, Romilda Vane is bored. Life has never been more dull since the confusion and distress of the War have died down. And everyone is so. Bloody. Cheerful.

But Romilda has a plan – an experiment of her own concoction, and for her own amusement. A way to test out some of her most creative potions – brews that would never be approved for testing by the Ministry. But what the Ministry doesn't know can't hurt them, right?

Under the brilliant ruse of forming an honor society for the heroes of the war, Romilda has invited what she hopes will be the first of many "test groups" to a very special banquet. Little do they know of the special ingredient that has been added to their meal.

And the results? Well, not even Romilda really knows…

About the Game

With the series finished, and the future of Harry Potter and his friends all tied up with a neat little bow, what's left for those of us who still see infinite possibilities left in the world JK Rowling created?

Idle Hands is a game where players can come to explore all the closed and unexplored options of Rowling's world – for those unsatisfied with the happy, cheddar-cheese ending given to us in the Deathly Hallows epilogue. For those who still hold a secret hope of seeing Harry and Draco together. For those who believe Neville and Ginny's date to the Yule Ball meant just a little more to Neville than he let on, if only he'd had the nerve to say something. For those who just want to see their favorite minor characters given the chance to shine.

In the world of Idle Hands, anything is possible. Through the use of Romilda and her personality-altering potions, players are given the chance to take their characters outside the realm of Rowling's small box, to explore even the most unlikely relationships and situations – even if only for a little while. Potions that remove character inhibitions, let them fall in love at first sight, and open many more realms of possibility will be unleashed, affecting characters for up to a week, and leaving repercussions that can last as long as the players are willing to explore them.

Even though we all know how it's going to end, doesn't mean we can have fun in the interim.

[info]euphorialane, is a post-Hogwarts, post-war canon up to Half Blood Prince game, set in the year 2004 and combining the magical world of Harry Potter, with social expectations and appointments. Unlike other games based on a no-war environment, Euphoria Lane provides mod designated events on a local, national, and international scale, so there will always be a plot to follow, alongside in-depth character development. We've also made it very easy for new players to catch up!

We are looking for motivated and creative role-players, who are willing to put effort into making the Harry Potter world as real as possible, through quality writing and original storylines. If you're a player looking to explore individual depths and development for a character you love, we invite you to join us with your wit, irony, and maybe a little flash of skin.
