intrigue, murder, war and madness...?

A Whisper of Darkness ([info]awod) is set in the world of GRR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire.  

200 years after the end of the series, the game begins after the coronation of the young King Jaehaerys Targaryen. His father was assassinated and he nearly died as well but now it looks as if all may be quiet in Westeros... of course that's never the case. We need a couple roles filled because come on, doesn't anyone love the Targaryens??

- The King's Uncle - blamed for his brother's death and forced to flee the city, he abandoned his daughter to the regents who took up rule in his stead. He joined with his nephew to help retake the throne and helps in the search for his brother's killers... but is he what he seems?

- The King's Cousin - Abandoned by her father and passed over for the crown because of the charges of treason against him and suspected madness, she survived the Regency nearly in isolation as the court went through its uphevals. She celebrated her cousin's return, but he too has chosen someone else to rule as his queen. Is she mad or prudently quiet? Is she merely biding her time?

Desperately seeking a husband!

the game: [info]the_seven. It's set in the A Song of Ice and Fire universe, a couple centuries after the books end. Knowing the 'verse is helpful, but you don't necessarily need to know the books that well.

my pup is Kaelyn Stark ([info]wolf_queen) and she would really love to have her lord husband, William Stark* (first name is negotiable). There's some major backstory with William: He was named regent after the king was assassinated and the crown prince was presumed dead. The Starks were dragged down from the North and installed to reign the Seven Kingdoms.

The regency... did not go stupendously. But it might have managed, only the crown prince showed up and asked for his throne back. The Starks packed up to get the hell home, having to leave William's sister and oldest daughter behind as a sort of... guarantee. Hostage is a nasty word.

They were only a few days into the journey home when a raven came with news: William was 'offered' the position of Hand of the King. So now they're heading back to the capital.

So, if you are up for trying your hand at being the second Stark to ever try this Hand of the King gig? Please come play!

Looking for a few characters

Character you will be playing: Percy Weasley and James Sirius Potter
Character Wanted: Looking for a couple specific characters for an upcoming plot. Ron Weasley, Bill Weasley, Hugo Weasley, Neville and Hannah Longbottom, Longbottom kids and Werewolves (Can be canon or OC). Also still looking for Percy's daughter Lucy (See his app for age), his ex-wife Audrey and James is looking for his sister Lily and cousins.
Storyline: The year is 2019, it's been twenty-one years since the Battle of Hogwarts when Harry Potter defeated The Dark Lord. Life has gone back to normal for the survivors; if being a Wizard was normal to begin with. But then again has life really gone back to normal for everyone? The Trio and their friends have children of their own now. Have they taken after their parents? Are they the complete opposite? It's now their turn to create their own stories.

Now that Voldy is out of the picture, the Werewolves are ready to make a comeback. They're no longer Voldy's lapdogs and want some power of their own. Greyback however, just wants revenge.

On May 1st, 2009, nation leaders spoke together to reveal a truth to the world: the supernatural world is real. Vampires, werewolves, and more exist. They have been known to the government for a long time, and now they are coming out of the shadows - and they come with a message. They are not a threat. They mean no danger to humans. But there are other things out there that do.

The days that followed changed everything most people believed they knew about the world, about history, and most importantly, about themselves. Celebrities, politicians, the family down the street - they began revealing their true identities, and telling the world what they really were. Missing people that had been turned against their will came out of hiding, and orginizations popped up to reunite them with their families. The revealing of the supernatural was penned in the media as the Light of May, as society made room for the supernatural.

It wasn't easy. Many, human and supernatural alike, were terrified of what this would mean. Some wanted to keep the supernatural abominations down. Leading figures of both Democratic and Republican parties were revealed to be supernaturals themselves, and joined together to fight for civil rights for the supernatural. It is revealed that if the supernatural were wiped out, half of the entire world's population would be gone. Independent parties popped up through-out the country, opposing supernatural rights, and the fight goes on. But those aren't the only battles being fought.

Why did the Light of May happen? If the supernatural has always existed, why are they only making themselves known now? For centuries, those with supernatural blood have been hunted, held, and killed - all for the benefits of their blood to hunters, and vampires who don't want to play by the rules of etiquette. There was a time when the angels, and even the fae, fought to protect them. But the fae have been extinct for hundreds of years, and worse - the angels seem to have disappeared. There is nothing fighting the demons of the world at bay now. The human race is at risk, and they are not alone.



The Light of May is an original supernatural game, taking place in a time when the world is adjusting to the world that has been hidden since the beginning of time. The game is set in Ann Arbor, Michigan, centered around a fictional township called Scarlet Oak. Characters of many races are up for play, as are those trusty humans. The Light of May will be focusing on characters adjustments and the eventual struggle against demons, hunters, and more.

The Light of May is for original characters only. Pre-existing fandom characters will not be allowed. The game has just launched to the public, and not yet started officially. Don't miss your chance to be there from the beginning!

Fair is an original character fairy tale game based on the world created by Gail Carson Levine's books Ella Enchanted, Fairest, and The Two Princesses of Bamarre. If you've never read those books, don't worry! You can just look at the game like any other fairy tale game around. :)

There are a few characters that we'd love to see in the game to help fill in some plot...

Bess Guidon, the town's apprentice healer, is missing her husband, Tristan. Tristan is a knight, and he loves his wife more than anything, but something deep down tells him that she doesn't feel the same. He gives her everything he can in the hope that she'll stay with him, but somehow it's not enough for Bess.

Abigail Hall is missing her sister, Eleanor. The two were separated as children, and Abby misses her dearly.

Serenity Somerset ran away from her privileged life ten years ago, leaving behind her sisters Hope, Faith, Blythe and Verity. These three sisters are all married, and one is playing host to elder unwed sister Grace, as well. Serenity works as a barmaid, but it can't be long before her past catches up with her.

Marta Damaran works in the palace as a servant, and she is missing her brothers, Markhas, Damin, and Richard Damaran. Richard also works in the palace, but Markhas and Damin have not seen him or Marta since she they ran away as children.

We would all love to see the Prince of Frell. With his father falling ill, the prince knows he will soon assume the throne- but despite this, he is still widely considered to be young, spoiled, and the biggest brat in the kingdom.

There are several other character suggestions on the cast list, and original characters are welcome and encouraged! ♥
